  1. Tahoe - my apologies, please. I should not have grouped you with the others regarding that particular point. What I intended to convey is that several people do have motives and agendas for what they post on paulding.com. I do not have a problem with representing an agenda, just be honest and upfront about it.
  2. To Animal- hello, pot, I'm kettle. As for agenda, yes, I most certainly do have an agenda - but let me assure you, it is civic, and not political. Whitey, am I being sarcastic? No, not at all. I am merely walking through the door the Chairman opened. When the Chairman, and then the BOC as a whole made a public endorcement of a candidate, and made it a point to applaud that the candidate was willing to forego the stated salary, I think they each subjected themselves to the same standard or example of which they were praising.   3. Two or three weeks ago, the thought of the commissioners waiving their salaries would not have crossed by mind. But after the Chairman made his rather passionate and public endorcement of Todd Pownall, in which he also made it such a point to commend Mr. Pownall on his commitment to waive the post commissioner salary, I think the only responsible and respectable thing for the Chairman and post commissioners to do would be to also waive, either in full or at the very least, in part, their salaries.   4. During this campaign season, I have read several times that Todd Pownall has committed to forego his salary as a Post Commissioner for two years due to the economic conditions within the County. I also recently saw an endorcement by the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners and by the Paulding County Board of Commissioners for Todd Pownall. One endorcement in particular commended Todd's commitment to waive the Post Commissioner salary.
