It is my understanding that the school systems doubled in size due to Paulding County’s growth explosion between the years of 1999 & 2008. Goldens term on BOE was previous to those years, please do not quote me but I believe the years he served were between 88 - 99 which would contradict the fact that he consistently voted for tax increases in order to build new schools.
Having said that, I also agree with the earlier statement that we should not be basing this election on the voting history of the BOE.
