  1. You are a class act Will and our community is a better place with you and your family in it! Thank you for the sacrifices you have made in running for public office and serving our community. There is no doubt in my mind that wonderful things are waiting in the wings for you.

I agree - let's all pull together and support Paulette as she undertakes this very important endeavor. I know that our support, prayers and feedback will be very valuable to her and I wish her the very best.

And Will, with your intelligence and passion, I just know that you will be enjoy many, many successes in the future.

I hadn't posted on here for a while after I had been "outed," but now that I actually have time beyond politics, I wanted to come back on and thank those of you for both your support and criticism. I have met many of you personally, and it has been a pleasure, and I hope to meet more in time.

Until then, I will end with what Will said. :drinks:

And  . I've always wanted occasion to use the ninja.

  2. Well he was in college, but now he's not because he wants the District 19 seat. BTW, he really doesn't have a clue his campaign manager was posting on pcom, there are a bunch of other things he doesn't know about him either. And the campaign manager had in his profile he lived in East Paulding and was posting from Dallas, GA. Funny he's never even been a resident of Paulding County. That has recently been changed to reflect that he is actually out of the county. ohmy.gif

It appears they have not been forthright in a lot of what they have shared with us. shok.gif

You are mischaracterizing many things in this post. For one, Will worked for a number of years out of college, both as a land surveyor and as an archaeologist. Just like Paulette has done, and at the same time, Will took some classes (in his case, to obtain a Master's Degree) while also working as a Professor (and a land surveyor). As I understand it, in this economy, many people have returned to colleges to improve their education. Will and I have never exactly talked about this subject, however it is something I presume you can broach with him.

Characterizing him as a "college student" is not accurate. There are bona fide college students running in other districts, however Will is hardly one of them.

  3. By voting Democrat you will be handing the keys to the Democrats and allowing them to drive for the next 10 years. Please consider that who you put into statewide office as your representative and governor will be involved in the redistricting of Congressional districts based on the recent census. I cannot just hand that power over to the Democrats. It's more than a matter of perceived lack of integrity.

    http://www.bipac.net...ng&parent=BIPAC

"On December 31, 2010, the President receives the Census population counts. This information provides the allocation of seats each state will have in the House of Representatives. In late March 2011, detailed redistricting data is supplied to the states, at which point the redistricting process begins.

When redistricting, each state determines the boundaries of their congressional districts in geographic areas with equal population. In thirty eight states, the state legislature draws the redistricting map and then goes to the governor for signature, while in five states, responsibility falls to independent redistricting commissions."

I would think you could present an argument there if Georgia's legislature was anywhere close to going Democrat. Frankly, it's not remotely close. There are only a handful of truly contested races statewide.

  4. You know I would like to know what you are getting out of this. I can easily read between the lines.

So when this over come back and post where you are working. I cannot stand for somebody to try to tell

me who to vote for, I think I am capable of making that decision, and I would think that most people on

here can think for themselves. Some people think they have to tell everybody how to vote in every

    election.

I'm working right now at a national law firm, and I am getting paid quite nicely. I also plan to attend law school next year.

It's pretty much the perfect job, and I have no intention of leaving. I'm volunteering with Will because I believe in what he has to say and do.

  5. OH, I think you have really messed up, and maybe hurt Will, if anyone was going to vote for him.

I don't think that to be the case. If someone does not like me, take it out on me. But I see myself as a likeable guy, at leastgood.gif If anyone here thinks that who I am (which I will note that "who I am" has been grossly mischaracterized) is a deciding factor in this election, then they never planned to vote for Will anyway. I have apologized for anyone I have misled, and I remain here not only to talk to all of you, but answer your questions about who I am.

Like I've said before, this election is about Will & Paulette. Talk about their pasts, their visions, their politics. Right now, between what is being discussed, this race is right now between Jerry Shearin/Glenn Richardson v. Me/Barack Obama. As far as I can tell, my name came off the ballot when Mr. Golden (Republican, the Elder) did not advance.

    As for PigPen's question-

No, I've never qualified to run for any House seat, much less even considered it. It could be Brownlee, but I sure as heck know it wasn't me. And, yes, you would be right that I'd know. Maybe there's a 3rd Steve Golden?

  6. hahaha, you have to remember that the voting public is comprised of 13 informed voters and the rest that vote for a registered trademark or demorat.

Out of 50,000+ registered voters, 10,000 will show up and it will be a 65/35 split.

I'd be happy to put some cash on the outcome of the race.

I'd put money down on the number of informed voters as well as the number of registered in D-19dirol.gif

  7. I've addressed this before, but I see it's necessary to address it again. yes, I was very hard on Daniel Stout. I didn't hide behind a screen name. Daniel Stout knew exactly who I was since I said nothing on p.com that I didn't say directly to him. In the time that has passed, I have directly apologized to Daniel Stout and gained a whole new respect for the man he is today. I didn't "raise" Daniel Stout's past. So I don't know why you are bringing that up. I knocked on a lot of Paulding county doors prior to the primary, but did not discuss Daniel Stout's past history. so you are barking up the wrong tree there.

That may be how it's been in the past. I don't recall participating in the melee on those two elections you referenced. But, it really shouldn't be this way. Long after folks like Mr. Politics are gone, the rest of us will still be here. Still join together to help our neighbors, regardless of their political afflilations. Still share events at Paulding Meadows. Still offer each other our goods and services. Some of us will still sit in church together. Whitey, other than election season, you are rarely here. I'll (most likely) still be here.

Who says I'll be gone anytime soon? I quite like P-com, and I plan to say active around these parts. I'll miss you far too much, Madea.

  8. Now we're not only stupid (The Postman), we're also idiots. Good thing our votes count the same as theirs. It must drive Democrats crazy since only they know what is good for the rest of us. And, that superior attitude is why I DO NOT support the Democrat party.

Don't hold it against all of us. The only idiots out there are people who complain and complain, but don't go out and vote.

You have the right to do it, so if you want to be heard, vote!

Y'all aren't idiots. None of ya.

  9. I havent bashed you one time so I dont appreciate you using my quote for you rant. My quote was only toward a person who bashes everyone on here...

You seem like an ok guy and I think you are a positive for Will Avery. It is those who come on here spouting anger and attacks that finally got me to speak up! You have a right to your opinion, but others on here seem to like to attack anyone who doesnt see Will Avery as the "promised one". it reminds me of the things people said if you didnt think Obama was that 2 years ago.

I wished the Republicans would have chosen better. I pray in two years they choose better and thow ou Braddock or Avery. I dont think either are good candidates for several reasons.

Sorry for using your quote. I usually just use the last one. Didn't mean anything by itunsure.gif

  10. Sure you are....and Avery is a conservative rofl.gif wink.gif

This is all getting to be a little crazy, for my book. I've already talked about who I am, and apologized to anyone who may have been misled by me. But what I said here was truthful. I don't write lies, even if I am writing under an alias. There's no reason I should.

We can continue to bash me (I've heard it all, I was bullied mercilessly in high school), or we can talk about the race. I've already said many times that I'm not here to talk about Paulette's friends, donors, associates, what have you. Frankly, they're not running for election this year. If surepip and feelip and everyone else want to, that's their right as an American, but I'll pass on that opportunity. And y'all can continue to bash me, because that's your right as an American, but I hope y'all can be as civil about it as PowderSpringsDad, who I will be PMing so I can get a ride in a muscle car. My Honda Civic is hardly one of those.

  11. The lily white campaign just turned a little muddy..........but hey Will just didn't know. And we're not supposed to link Will to his campaign manager but Paulette is side by side (/s) with the RBMDs that was voted out a couple of years ago. That's fair game. Certainly you understand the rules. wink.gif

If you want my personal opinion, the race should be Will v. Paulette. I personally do not care about who she associates with, as that is her business. Surepip and feelip might feel a bit different, but I prefer to judge each candidate based on their own merits, not those of others.

  12.

I googled "GALiberal" and the first option is "Georgia Politico", the liberal blog that continues to post negative campaign blogs against Paulette. Honestly, it looks like a grand scheme to keep Will's hands clean, particularly in light of his "proclamation" that he'd keep this campaign clean.

You and Will Avery have taken dirty politics to all new depths for Paulding County. In spite of political differences, this is still a close knit community that needs to heal and recover, particularly from this District 19 race.

Yeah, I blog(ged) for GAPolitico nee GALiberal. It was started by someone else, named by someone else, and I would just write things every now and again. Sometimes in the heat of the moment, sure, but I would write them nonetheless.

GAPolitico gets information from supporters, just as other news sources and blogs do. Someone publishes them more often over there than other blogs, I guess. I have not been blogging over there because of my work schedule, so I have had nothing to do with that. Talk to GA Politics Unfiltered, BfD, PeachPundit, AJC, etc. They all ran stories as well.

  13. Mr. Politics, you would seriously ask us to believe that Will didn't know you were posting here when these are your topics?

You didn't tell us you were Will's campaign manager because we didn't ask? Seriously? This post, along with a few others, looks like a deliberate attempt to make you look like an average Paulding voter. You even went so far as to list your location in your profile as Dallas, GA. I don't know of any part of Dallas that's in Cobb. You've been deliberately deceptive and yet you want us to believe you'll be completely honest going forward.

    "outside observer"

No, Will didn't know about those posts. Emails went out to many people, so anyone could have posted that. It just happened that I did. I also do not recall my place of residence being set as Dallas. I remember the day I signed up saying "Outside Paulding," and if for some reason it got changed, that's my fault. I don't know how it did, but it did, so mistake admitted.

However I would disagree strongly with that post trying to make me sound like an average Paulding resident. I wrote it truthfully-- as an average Georgia voter. I was an outsider this last session. I sat at the Capitol and watched, listened, and once even got to see some important people. But I was an outsider. And the truth is that I don't hate Ralston. None of what I said was false.

  14. My attacks may seem baseless to you but your background says different. My link

Will's supporters here continuously attempt to tie Paulette to others, in fact this entire thread is based on her association with Glenn Richardson. wink.gif

HA! I forgot I even had a website. I haven't been on there in AGES.

You can comment on my "background" all you want. I'm 22 years old, and have worked quite a bit in my life. I've admitted to my campaign background, and yes, I still want to be a pundit of sorts. It looks fun, frankly, and people get paid pretty well for it.

  15. No, what she has said over and over is that she can't vote in District 19's race. You should learn the district a bit better. District 19 only represents the eastern side of Paulding.

Madea- I am well aware of the boundaries of the district. I mistakenly thought that she said she lived in Cobb to boot, but I was wrong on that account.

As for that picture, I know it might lose Will some votes, but apparently he is not a fan of Tony Stewart.

  16. You may not like her, but, this is the face of the Democrat extreme left party of today:

    Scary. isn't it?

No, that is not very flattering, I would tend to agree.

I would agree with one thing, she is the face of the Democrat extreme left. I'm more of the Democrat extreme rational centrist (as hard as that may be to believe). I'm a big advocate of gun rights as well as pro-capitol punishment. That, and I work too dang hard for anyone to raise my taxes. In fact, I'm working now, so I shouldn't really be on P-comwacko.gif

  17. Wrong again, I live, work, eat, shop and sleep in Paulding County, have for the last 27 years. Lived here before we had a Walmart and when Nathan Dean got us our stop light. wink.gif

Then perhaps I mis-remembered. I thought you had said that you lived in Cobb, but I'll admit defeat on this one, if I am wrong.

No actually I have a deep appreciation of all music (well except for rap). You would be surprised what can be found on the internet these days. wink.gif

Oh, I know what can be found on the internet. I'm just surprised people would care so much about lil old me.huh.gif

But I guess the overriding point for me is that the guy in this race is Will Avery. Ask him the questions, not me. I'm not running in this race. I'm just a friend doing another friend a favor. But I will tell you that my friend deeply cares about Paulding County, and about all of you. You may not agree with him, but he cares about you nonetheless. One thing I like about Will (and Laurien, for that matter). They care.

  18. Mr. Poltics you sound like a smart guy. However, you are so wrong about Pelosi. She DOES represent the modern Democratic party. If she didnt she wouldnt rule the House the way she does. I respect your right to support any party, but you must realize that Obama, Pelosi, and Frank are the rulers of YOUR party. Plain and Simple. The Dems are gonna lose the House by a large margine. If by some miracle they didnt, she still would be speaker. Why? Because she is the face of the Democratic Party. If she wasnt then you wouldnt see the constant support almost without defection of the Obama agenda.

She's not the face of my Democratic Party, for one.
