Reminder of the gospel/bluegrass singing for Joey and Mandy Friday Night @ 7p.m. We will have a couple of additional parking areas for the singing Friday night. One will be at the community center at the corner of HWY61 and Braswell mtn. rd. The other will be at the Burnt Hickory Ball fields. We will have vans shuttling people to Jimmyz and back whenever they want. Please don't let a little rain keep you home Friday Night. I will never forget the funeral at Narroway coming down the hill seeing hundreds of people standing outside in the light rain to show their respects. Let's do the same Fri

Yes the plan is to have Jimmy's driveway used for handicap, elders, and for dropping off people. Our hope is to use Corley Rd area for parking wich is right beside Jimmy's house. The venue will seat 300 plus and if the weather cooperates (remember March 1993 was a blizard), we will have the doors open to accomodate more seating. Please don't let parking be a deterrant from coming and going to meeting. Also refreshments will be available and if anyone wants to bring a cake or box of donuts etc please do. . There will a southern gospel/ bluegrass gospel Benefit singing for Joey and Mandy Tibbitts to help with the medical/ final Expenses for Caleb. The singing will be at Jimmy Tibitts' building behind his house located at 1063 Braswell Mountain Rd Dallas, GA 30132-1558. Please pray for good weather for March 12. The singing will start at 7 p.m. The Tibbitts Family (Jimmy, Joan, Lynn, etc) will be singing along with Heartfelt Bluegrass and a couple more gospel groups. What would be a great tribute is if they get so many requests for track number 4 "Sinner Don't Wait" that it makes the most requested list.

I called to request a song today and they said there had been hundreds of requests.

I just wanted to let everyone know that WZOT radio Station has Papa's Prayer CD and play any of the songs as often as they are requested. They have even played three or four back to back. The phone number is 770-684-7848. For those that don't know it can be found on 1220 a.m. Even if you can't pick it up where you are it still doesn't hurt to give them a call. Just remember between 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. the phone goes straight to swap shop so try to call around that. The inging at Jimmyz is MARCH 12. We set it then so we could get more CDs in to sell and have plenty of time to get the word out to the New Hope Baptist Association. I hope we fill up Jimmyz and spill over outside.
