About Scouting for Food:
Community and business leaders in Paulding are teaming up to Make Hunger History!
Community leaders will get back to the roots of scouting as they sleep in a giant teepee and demonstrate scouting as part of this Boyscouts of America event. Their goal is to surpass last years collection total of 1 TON of food! All of the food donated benefits Helping Hands of Paulding's food pantry and all donations support families in OUR county.
On Saturday, March 20th, Scouts and church members will take to the neighborhoods of Paulding distributing over 4,500 bags donated by Publix (a major sponsor of this event). These bags can then be filled throughout the week. On Saturday, March 27th, families can place their bags at the street for pick-up by Scouts from Cub Scout Pacts 1916 and 9161 as well as BoyScout Troop 1916.
If you don't get a bag and want to donate food, learn more about Scouting, or you just want to see some of our community leaders camping in a teepee, stop by the BB&T (formally Colonial) Bank parking lot at the intersection of Cedarcrest Rd. and Seven Hills Blvd from Friday morning, March 26th until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27th. You'll get to see all of the food donated before it's delivered to Helping Hands of Paulding.

I started seeing Dr. George and due to his testing, he determined that I have some adrenal fatigue.
Our adrenal glands are supposed to kick in and give us a 'boost' when we're in critical situations. But if you're stressed out a lot (take some types of medication, drink a lot of caffeine, etc.), they produce adrenalin too often and get depleted. Now, I'm not a doctor, and this is just my simplified explanation. But, this is what I found out when I started looking into it.
Anyway, Dr. George suggested a couple natural herbal supplements. I've been taking them a couple of months and I feel like a different person! I have so much more energy now. In fact, I was worried that I had too much energy and he said that I'm just getting use to having as much adrenalin as most everyone else does. I had no idea what I was missing!
I also sleep much better at night and feel rested when I wake up in the morning. I'm energetic and ready to start the day instead of being groggy and wanting to sleep longer. I didn't think I was having problems sleeping before; it's just so much better now!
Sleeping better is just one of the improvements. I use to feel very depressed (due to PMS) a couple of days a month, and that's gone now, too. Apparently, the adrenal glands affect all kinds of hormones.

This sounds like me. I am exhausted ALL the time. I am 31 and have 4 kids, one of which doesn't always sleep through the night at 11 months old. I feel like an 80 year old and all I want to do is sleep. Even if I get 7-8 hours of sleep I don't feel rested. I have a chiroractor but haven't seen him in a while, I've been too tired!

Do you suggest seeing a chiropractor if you have herniated discs in your lower back? I used to have migraines, and went to a chiropractor, and never had another one. I now have herniated discs and I'm a little unsure.

Research shows that most people buy supplements based on the packaging. Many people have no idea how to read the label. If a source is given look for these words ACETATE, BITARTRATE, CHLORIDE, GLUCONATE, HYDROCHLORIDE, NITRATE, SUCCINATE. If these words are present it is a synthetic. If the source is not listed DO NOT BY THE PRODUCT!!!!! Beware of the word all natural. Many things that are bad for your health are "all natural". Poison Ivy is all natural do you want it in your salad. Taking high potency supplements is unwise and unnecessary. Many of my patients have brought me bottles of high potency vitamin C and E. They want to get plenty of antioxidants. To many times they are harming themselves. d- alpha tocopherol is what is commonly sold as vitamin E. This is only a small part of a unit of whole vitamin E. Natural vitamin E is a complex of 8 molecules. A unit of real whole food vitamin C is configured of multiple constituents as well.When you see ascorbic acid sold as vitamin C once again you are only getting a small part of a unit of vitamin C.
An expensive supplement is not necessarily good/the best. Conversely an inexpensive supplement is not necessarily bad/ineffective.
