The problem is with the company you are using. Their software may not be up to date at least for that particular form that says "Do not File" I am a tax preparer and I have successfully e-filed returns with the state of Georgia. I would give the company a call or wait a few more days.

The American Opportunity Credit is a new version of the Hope education credit for tax years beginning in 2009 and 2010. I would be angry too. That original credit (or loan) just doesn't compare to the credit now available.

If it was purchased in 2009 it can be claimed on the 2009 return or the 2008 amended return. If it was purchased in 2010 it can be claimed on the 2009 return or 2010 return. Bray's Mill Farm is Great. I met them at the farmer's market in Powder Springs last summer. They have all sorts of grass fed meat without all the nasty antibiotics and chemicals. And with the grass fed you are getting more of the Omega vitamins that you don't get from corn fed animals.
