SHE and I played Chess for about 3 hours, followed by Poker......(the REAL Poker where you use REAL money...).....although the money came from our "family" bucket....but we tried to ignore the fact that all $$$$ on both side went back into the same bucket.
It was STILL fun!! I love my Chelly girl.....and she is an ADMIRAL Chess player!!!!! A worthty opponent, indeed!! -

This past New Year's Eve was the first one I didn't have to play a club somwhere in TWENTY-FIVE (25) Years!!!

Everything's great, she had to get up early tomorrow so it was going to be a short date anyway... I did give her the gift I had been saving for a week or so...
I have to say, I don't think I have ever seen someone that pleased with something I did...

My X-wife used Itunes....I never liked the format and codec encription they used. Personally, the basic Windows media player is awesome for burning CD's....as long as you have stuff that is yours...like burned from other sources. I also like Real Player, but it's codecs are also a paiin in the ASS sometimes! It's a great burner though.
BTW.....if you rip music from your CD's, they will be in .cda or .wma or other LARGE volume format. There is a free program called "Jodix" which will convert all of those huge files into smaller MP3's.......and with no noticable degredation in sound quality. Just FYI.

BTW, I am working on a really cool link to help people who have the only viable siding left....ABTco, still writable for 3 more years. Gimme a day or so and I'll have links to show you EXACTLY how to spot this stuff if you have it.

I know how you feel, My Mother passed away in 2006, I tried to keep her as comfortable as possible. She suffered for a while and I watched her slowly deterriorate, she only ate a 1/2 a piece a bread a day for about a week, then 1 cracker for about a week and the next 3 weeks nothing, not even a sip of water. I do wish I had of taken a few more pictures of her. She did NOT like having her picture taken at all. She'd fight you tooth and nail on this subject. She was ready to go and I had to respect her decision, no matter what I felt or thought. Yes, I loved her dearly and didn't want her to "go" but, I knew she was suffering from the chemo, radiation and the medications. We had said our Goodbye's and I will see her again one day, she is saving me a seat in Heaven!!! She was my Best Friend and My Mother. Rest In Peace Mom, I Love You!! God Bless You All and I'll keep you and your Family in my thoughts and prayers.
Like I said, it's not easy, but only the person who is facing death can decide how it should come about. When you think about it....that is a gift from above...
When you think of people who died from car crashes, and other freak incidents......these people actually have a choice in how they would like to go about it.

I have about 3 older HomeLites I am rebuilding, so if anyone is interested in getting a GREAT deal on a gas trimmer for next year, this is your time to save some bucks by buying one now. I have all the necessary parts to get them all in tip top shape, and they will probably ALL go for $50 a shot. You aint gonna find a better deal anywhere. Only catch is this---they are gonna sit there until someone orders one, then I will have it rebuilt within about 2 days. They are basic Homelite older models, only rebuilt with the finest materials available. You are more than welcome to drop by and pick out the one you want, and I'll build it for you. I also have 3-4 higher end models, if you wanna go that route. They will go for about 75-100 dollars, but they are 300 dollar machines with attachment capabilities. Either or.....first come, first serve! I am lowering prices on everything to get ready for the close of the season, before I get into the hail damage business for 2-3 months. Get em while the gettin's good!!!
