  1. And then there is this tidbit of information -

at a 2009 conference of the State Legislative Leaders Foundation in Bern, Switzerland.

Campaign reports show Richardson stayed at the five-star Grand Resort, which offers a casino, golf, tennis, horseback riding and other amenities, in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland.

On its Web site, the foundation notes that it’s sponsored a Transatlantic Leadership Academy since 1999 that has

“increased communication and cooperation among political, business and academic leaders in Europe and North America. In the intervening years, this branch of SLLF has brought scores of US state legislative and business leaders together with their counterparts from across the European continent. The end result has been an increased understanding and appreciation of the common bonds shared by leaders from democracies around the world.”

Understanding is so important. Remarkably, all 11 Transatlantic conferences have been held in Europe and none in the USA.

    Birds of a feather ....

  2. Adding a tablespoon or so of bourbon to the recipe makes it good too.

I have a few pecan trees and they have produced a very good crop this year. My favorite pecan tree (has larger pecans) didn't produce much of anything last year or the year before. But this year is different. :D

I think I'll add some of these recipes to my collection.

  3. D-Dawg

Joey could have rented or lived with someone in Paulding County before he bought a house.

So Mr. Seabolt, you were bored one day and thought you would just add your name to the ballot?

    That's a lame question.

And in these forums you attacked the largest commercial project has seen to date with the largest pontential to bring commercial growth to this County, The Paulding Airport? But then paise the airport in the newspaper?

Some things never advance beyond potential.

  4. How sad.

"She's the one who taught me about hard work," he said. "She's the one who put off buying a new car or a new dress for herself so that I could have a better life. She poured everything she had into me, and who helped to make me the man I am today.."

"She was the cornerstone of our family, and a woman of extraordinary accomplishment, strength, and humility. She was the person who encouraged and allowed us to take chances."

  5. ...

PEOPLE WAKE UP, when it concerns sewer needs the owner/developers ante up...$1,000 for sewer improvements...how is this going to help with the education of the children of Paulding schools?? NOTE THIS WORD: CONTRIBUTION[/size]

This is over and above the $5,000 sewer tap fee. This never seems to make sense to me, but if my toilet flush is worth $5,000, then surely the development of a child's brain is worth more than a $500 dollar "contribution".
