Prayers said for your wife. God bless.

It's not a one hour thing. The heating and cooling takes at least a few hours to get it right. In the summer, if the AC is not running all night, the building won't be cool.
When I was on my church's committee that handled this, we raised the price to $800 for non-members and $500 for members. We did that because if we didn't, it was always rented and we couldn't have our own functions.
The staff gets paid extra for weddings. They have time off work too. If we don't add a cost in for the staff, they wouldn't get paid. Many times the couple would agree to even a small $50 then just not pay it after the ceremony. So we added a flat amount for all staff in the total cost. It wasn't enough but it did solve some problems.
Best thing to do is to be an active member and the discount applies. Wanting the church to absorb the cost is not fair either. Most people dotn' know just how expensive it is for the church to allow the building to be used for a wedding. We had Greystone estimate the energy cost then added the water and staff, plus the janitor and sound people. It came to well over $1200 per wedding. So we felt that cost was still being charitable.

I'm surprised the NRA is not causing a stink after this ruling.

I really don't know what to say. The more I think about it, the more I think the judge is right. Guns at the airport is a stupid idea and the state of Georgia is wrong on this one. GeorgiaCarry.org needs to think this through. Thank God the judge has some common sense.
from the Atlanta Journal Constitution today
http://www.ajc.com/services/content/metro/...=7&cxcat=13
A federal appeals court on Thursday ruled that licensed firearms owners may not carry guns into parts of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
GeorgiaCarry.org, a gun-rights group, and state Rep. Timothy Bearden (R-Villa Rica) challenged the airport’s ban on guns. They contended a law enacted last year overrode a longstanding policy prohibiting visitors to the airport from carrying firearms in non-secure areas.

No. It is not the same as the guy at West Ridge. Two different people.

I seen this a few years ago. Impresive.

Never heard of this one. Where is it?

Meat tray. Fruit and cheese tray. Sandwich fixins tray. Whole grain bread. Colas. Chips. Peanuts. Cheese dip. Salsa. Publix has all that.
Plenty of good wine. None of the nasty stuff they call wine but is nothing be swill. No Kendall Jackson or Sutter Home or Foxhorn or any other stuff that people drink and don't realize how awful that stuff is. Spending more on wine than food.
Going to be a party at my house. Family. Some friends.

That is the sweetest thing!

Oh, no. I need to make a run to Krogers.

Our nation is divided and will continue to be divided since the values, principles, God's moral and ethical laws as well as man's own morals and ethics continue down the road as it has been for quite some time now.
What mainly has divided us is the socialist lefties who want pure poltical correctness which I will not bow down to.
Besides, I AM an American, born and raised here. I prefer to adhere to what the Constitution means when it was drafted and not what the lefties want it to be.
Therefore, I don't need to be born again to my nation. Furthermore, I have done a lot during my life for my fellow man(which includes women), served my nation, serving God, and I don't need to re-affirm that.
Ithiel, can I ask you something? Are you ever happy about anything? You have such a negative personality. Life is not always back and white. At least show some hope.

I liked the song. It was good.

I'm gonna get my book down to see how to change the voices. Neat idea.

Can he fake this?

Once that college comes into town, those buildings can be used for other sorts of things that might be a money maker. Look at Carrolton with West Georgia College. It could be that some people have their eyes on making money from that and are trying to get businesses out of town.

you are so bored.
hehehe
That's what I was thinkging to. I did learn something though.

Good for him. My wife teared up a little when she read it too.

[Jughaid's wife here] I think what surepip is saying is that the boc fought like dogs to hold the letter of the stipulations when it benefited them and Mickey. When the market drops, they ignore the letter of the stipulations and want to say that things have changed. That's not fair.

Did anyone else get charged for more water than usual?

Maybe you did know or maybe you didn't. The fact still remains that you were making fun of PCHS by letting everyone know that PCHS is AAAA & Pepperell is AA. Admit that. Those boys don't choose their coach nor do the parents. We just try & make the best of what we have. I don't even have a son playing but it still makes me feel bad for those kids. I shouldn't have to remind of you anything, you should know better! You are a grown man, act like it. If you can't support us, then leave us alone!!!!!!!!!
I like you.
That guy reminds me of the west cobb snobs. What goes around comes around.

What a crock.

This stinks. The BOC was trying to get around the law. They tried to use the good old boy friendships to do it too.

FYI - I had a hard time getting through to someone who knew how to get tickets. Keep trying til you get someone who knows what the heck they're doin'. You'll eventually get transferred to someone. I wish I still had that lady's name.
There is a neighbor of mine who works down there. I'll call her to see who I should talk to. Thanks.
IF IT WALKS LIKE A DUCK...............
