  1. Oh there are all kinds of snakes around there. I live on Graham were its still pretty wooded and have seen just about every kind of critter you can think of. Also have lots of lizards running around my house so it would be a easy guess there are snakes as well. Had a garter snake sneek into my garage last year. That was a exciting moment. :D

  2. Uh... Did you readd the Law above?

Once again.... 15 years. I was in the first class when the emissions changed in 1995. Also did it when it was only $10 idle test back in the day.

I could dig around here and find the rule book, its here somewhere lol.

Its my job to know the laws. That doesnt apply to "out of counties" also know as non-emission counties. That sucks but its true.

  3. I noticed this even though it was a month old I still wanted to clear this up. Non-emission counties dont have to do emissions on stuff they sell so buyer beware, The state wont get involved. The only thing that might save you is the fact it had been tested and failed but that still is in a grey area. If you can scare a dealer into fixing it then your lucky. This is a good reason not to go to Cartersville to buy your cars. If you buy a car in a emissions county from either a dealer or person you are covered. I've been in the emissions biz for 15 years and seen many people get screwed like that.

  4. My wife worked as a car salesman in the early 90's and her boss sold more yugos than anyone else in the country. He told us all about the cars falling apart while they were trying to take them off the trucks. The windows had plastic gears and would break after just a few times of rolling them up and down. He was trying to sell one and the front bumper fell off. The stories went on and on.

  5. It is called learn to take it in moderation. If you can not do this, do not play this game. I am a casual player and a casual raider. But by no means do I spend endless hours on it. I have played 4 years and learned to moderate.

LOL please. That is not what happens to most people who play the game. I knew hundreds of people in the game and had my own guild. I saw what it does first hand. The game isn't made so you can just play for a hour here and there. You get in and start something like a instance and fail if you dont finish it. No save button. Some quests you can come back and do later but you cant progress untill you complete the chains and so on and so forth. Its not made to be a casual game. People that try to play it casual end up quiting.

  6. Warning: World of Warcrack is to adictive. Save yourself so you can have a life and dont get hooked. I'm not kidding about this. This game is designed to take all your spare time, it not a casual game. You will find out the only way its fun is to get to high levels and to get to high levels you must put in 30-40+ hours a week or more in leveling. Then there is PVP if you want to epic gear up or Raid instances for gear, huge time sucks. I'm really not kidding. I played for 2 years and know lots of people who really got lost in it. It can end friendships.

  7. wow $49.95 per person (adults) regularly, so $25 a head isnt so bad.. nice coupon code. Although they get you in the upcharges if you go for the extra packages. highest package was $20 extra per person. Lowest was $10 extra per person. Looks like show times vary anywhere between 5pm as the earliest on some days to as late as 9:30pm depending on the day with some days having 2 showings.

  8. If you had one of these would you still need converter boxes for the older tv's?

Yes. It doesn't convert the signal it just lets you receive the signal. You need a HDTV turner to watch the digital signal which is either built in to a HDTV or a HDTV set-top box. It would also work with the new converter boxes used to allow "old TVs" to get ota (over the air). However the picture you get is down-converted due to the TVs limitations.

Important note: If you buy a HDTV make sure it has a QAM tuner built in. This type is better than just a ATSC tuner (HDTV turner) in that it lets you receive HD signals thru the cable TV lines without paying extra. These channels are not the pay channels but they are local ones and a few extra. That might change someday but Comcast gives me about 20 or so for free*.

I still use OTA for my main HDTV though due to it being higher quality signal and sound. (cable up-converts signal and no DTS sound.)

*You still have to subscribe to Comcast to receive the other channels, but you could get the really super basic which is local channels only(about $7 a month) I get that myself because it lowers the cost of my cable internet.

  9. :p The group of wantabe Rambos who buy and read every issue of those mags are more dangerous to themselves than to others. Their the ones you read about shooting themselves while cleaning their guns lol. Not saying everyone who reads a gun mag is a nut job but the ones who froth at the mouth like its a pin up chick are compensating for something. The rest are normal people who are military or law enforcement or true enthusiasts with no agenda to shoot up a mall or school. Guns dont = evil.

And yes kids like the idea of the power of a gun. If you let a kid get their butt kicked by a hi power wep they remember the bruise more than the thrill of shooting the gun lol, did that to my daughter and she wont touch one now. (yes I'm mean)

  10. Sports Authority doesn't come to mind as a good ancor. I guess they are doing well as a company but I cant remember the last time I shopped at one. Walmart has them beat in pricing all the way round. I guess they have a few items not found in other stores but nothing of major note. Oh well at least we will have a bestbuy soon and I don't have to drive 20 miles to get must have at that moment computer parts.

  11. I tried to look around in here to see if someone had started a topic on this but was unsuccessful. Is it more housing? Or are they going to put something in that might make some tax money and not over crowd our schools more? I haven't been over there but a friend of mine who lives in Cobb has been driving by it and said they are doing some major earth moving.
