I have an aunt who works at the hospital and other family members who work for Clarks.
Hey HiramCouple, just supply me with the name of your Aunt and family members who work for the hospital and for Clarks and I will turn them in for a HIPPA violation. Just in case you are wondering what that is, I have attached a little explanation -
"What is HIPAA?" HIPAA stands for the Health Insurance Portability and Protection Act of 1996. Although it purports to regulate health insurance, HIPAA provisions extend far beyond insurance. HIPAA introduced broad disclosure and privacy requirements. It also established civil and criminal penalties for each violation (up to $25,000 per person per year in civil penalties and up to $250,000 in criminal fines - along with imprisonment)."
The HIPAA Privacy Rules require certain specific methods of handling the protected health information (PHI) of clients. On April 14, 2003, these changes must be implemented. Fines, penalties and possible jail time can be imposed for non-compliance.
So, if you want to continue with the examples of cases, warn your family members that we are all on the look-out for them. I am sure they won't want to pay the MINIMUM fine of $25,000. I suggest you keep your mouth shut about things you have NO CLUE about.

I have a problem. I upgraded my McAfee and it removed two trojans. After that, I tried to connect to the internet, and now my ISP address is missing??? (At least that is what the error message says)
I have no clue what to do! All I know is that I can't connect to the internet! Any suggestions? Anything would be appreciated!

I've lived here 16 years and have tried most of the vets in the area. Our most favorite is Dr. Jeff Bowen, Aminal Medical Center of Paulding. His number is 770-943-9820. He and his staff are wonderful. I have a dachshund with an ongoing back problem and they are fantastic with him and us. Dr. Bowen doesn't rush through exams like the others do. He answers all your questions clearly and even answers ones you didn't know you had. Try him and you and your pet will be glad you did!
He is in the Kroger shopping center across the street from Wal-Mart in Hiram.
I LOVE DR. BOWEN!! I have many cats, and have used a few different Vets in the area and he is, by far, the best one. He is knowledgable, friendly, and his staff has been nice and let me pay off some of my kitties higher vet bills in a few payments, instead of all at once.
They will also be building a new stand-alone office right up the street going towards Dallas. I am not sure of the intersection, but it's right where the Office Complex, Day Care, and houses are on the left. It is supposed to be ready some time at the end of this year. So everything will be nice and new, lots of room, since his practice has outgrown where they are now!
I know you might have already picked your vet, but I couldn't resist boasting about Dr. Bowen! Everyone there is great!

Any clue as to the expected date for the new Wal-Mart to be finished or know any of the shops/restaurants that will be there?

Just to let everyone know that this is the last weekend that Top of the Ridge Restaurant (off of Ridge Road and Cohran Store Road) will be open. I don't know the full details why, but there was a sign saying that something was wrong with the lease, but that Route 61 BBQ restaurant was still going to be open. (Think they are owned by the same person. .???)
Any other info would be helpful, if you have it!

Proline Uniform Store in Austell (near where the old Uptons store used to be) has some, too. But I agree that Uniform Advantage off of Hwy 41 has the best slections. Some CVS and Eckerds have scrubs, but they are like Wal-Mart's. . . .kinda scratchy. Hope that helps!

Inspectors found employees preparing food without washing their hands.
The report also shows there were treys of raw chicken on the floor.

I had heard a rumor that a prisoner has escaped and was holding kids hostage at Dallas Elem. The power to that area had went out for a while, and finally came back on. Not sure if that's the reason why. Didn't see anything on the news about it, so guess it was just that. . . . .a rumor!!!
