  1. Looking for a rental house. Prefer East Paulding area, but not required. Need at least 4-5 bedrooms. Max $1200 per month. Please contact me if you have anything similar to above description. Could move with 30 days notice to current landlord.

  2. I'm not sure why parents weren't notified. The driver gave them a list of names and phone numbers of all students on the bus.

My niece was on there. I called my sister-in-law to make sure she knew, but she had not received a phone call.

Btw, it was East Paulding Middle School.

  3. They were all middle schoolers.

The driver is ok, but they did send another bus to take her kids to the school. She was pretty shaken up. I have to say though, she handled the situation perfectly. If she hadn't moved over, it would've been head-on. There's no telling what injuries there might have been then.

  4. The driver and all the students were a little shaken, but no injuries. The car crossed over into the bus' lane. The bus driver tried to avoid it, but was hit and spun around into the ditch. From what I understand, the woman in the car was supposedly distracted by her dog who was in the car with her. By the time she looked up, it was too late. This is the info I gathered at the scene and I'm not positive of how accurate it is.

  5. My daughter used her Christmas money to purchase the 8gb iTouch. It has WiFi on it, which we tried to use today, but couldn't. We went to Wendy's in Hiram where they have free WiFi access. But we couldn't get connected. I've done this with my husband's laptop and have had no trouble connecting. Is there a secret? Help please?

  6. A friend of mine is stressing right now. She wants one of those cute little VW Bug ornaments Pier 1 was selling but they are sold out. They sold for around $12 I believe. She is willing to pay $25, maybe more if someone has one they are willing to part with. The tough thing is, she had one in her hand a couple of weeks ago, but didn't buy it. It's a tradition that she and her 11 year old daughter buy 1 new ornament each year, but they do it together. Her daughter wasn't with her so she waited til they could go together. It was too late.

Anybody have one you'd be willing to sell?

  7. Thank you so much! See, this is why I post things on here. People who don't even know my son are praying for him. And thanks for the prayers for me, too! I sure need them right now! I just hope this isn't a problem he has to deal with his whole life, other than yearly xrays.

  8. Back in 1999 my son had oral surgery to remove what was then called a cyst from his lower jaw. 2 permanent teeth that had not yet been exposed had to be removed due to the damage caused to them. They had to scoop them out because they were crumbled.

My son just turned 17 this past Sunday. I took him to the dentist for what I thought was a routine cleaning...The dentist did the normal xrays but then decided to do a panoramic view because he didn't like what he saw. He looked at his chart and found that the oral surgeon had actually referred to this "cyst" as a benign tumor. Well, it's back and bigger than before. So now he has to go back for a consult with the surgeon to let them decide what to do, but most likely it will be surgery again. I'm so upset. I'm trying not to show it. I don't want to worry him. But I hate to think of what he's most likely about to go through. :( We really need your prayers.

    Thank you

  9. I bought my daughter 3 shirts there a couple of years back. I bought them for about $6 each. She tried one on but it was too small. I took them back WITH the receipt 2 days later to exchang for a larger size. The price for them that day was around $7.25. Even with my receipt, they still made me pay the difference to exchange them!! :angry2: I will NEVER shop there again!!

WalMart rocks! You can return practically anything. I saw a woman returning a large bag of Skittles! They refunded her money with NO receipt. No questions asked.

  10. yup...

but too many people have discovered how wonderful he is.....it's starting to make it difficult to get an appt :ninja:

It actually takes longer to get an appointment for a cleaning than it does to see him for something else. They are all worth the wait though!

  11. There is an awful song that I'm happy to say I hadn't heard in a while...then BAM! 2 days in a row on 92.9! UGH!!! It's Kid Rock and Sheryl Crowe. "I can't look at you while I'm lying next to her/him" Kid Rock can NOT sing IMO. I hate his voice! Why would they pair him up with her? BLECH!!!

  12. And what if it was somebody you know or God forbid, YOUR house?

Would you want some jackleg you don't know posting pictures of your burning house on a message board.

What about people whose personal business is all over the tv for anyone to see? Did anyone get their permission before airing their house on fire? No.

I wouldn't mind. It would spread the news to people who would be concerned about me alot quicker than I could. Especially when they say the words "Everyone got out." What a relief that would be to someone who knew me and saw the report!

I'm not trying to fuss at anyone here. We all have different opinions. I just didn't see anything wrong with someone posting pictures. You did. No big deal.

  13. You didn't post pictures of it.

I'm in the minority here, but I'm cool with it.

No I didn't. But by the pictures, I could tell it wasn't anyone's house who I know. I'm thankful for that. But now I'm able to send up a prayer for someone in need.

  14. Because people are morbidly curious by nature.

That wasn't my reason for starting all this. It was out of concern. All the sirens went right by my house. I knew it had to be close by. But rather than go out and be just another car in the way, I stayed home and voiced my concern on here. Like I said, I know a lot of people in that area.

Why is there always one person that tries to start drama on here when something like this happens?

Let just get to the point that these people need our prayers and let all pray that noone was hurt..

Geez... you would think we were in HS again!

    Thank you!

By the way, I love your avatar!!! Where can I get one of those signs? Gary's definitely got my vote!! Great guy!!

  15. You are glad to see someone's house on fire?

Maybe I'm the one who's twisted here.

NOOOO, if you paid attention to what i said...i'm glad to be able to see where it was because i know several kids who live in that area. i was concerned for them. geesh!
