    Manuka honey: It's known in New Zealand as "the healing honey of the tea tree". The jar says that it has powerful healing benefits. As for the Buckwheat, you are probably right. Honey, local that is, is good for allergies in general. So, I could see that buckwheat may be good for a cough. We don't have buckwheat, though, sorry.
