  1. BossHog, really? Are you really gonna let this dumba$$ be so ignorant and post this kind of trash?? I am having a very SLOW day at the office and would love to call some of these bullies 'names'! Talk about biased....

You're right. I apologize for being a dumba$$, as you say.

    It was a bit harsh.

But at the time, I thought I was doing well to refrain from using the words "trailer trash".

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings.

  2. Thank God we live in America... I'm sorry if I offended you. (not really) :drinks:

    I, personally, prefer "pig".

    No disrespect to ya'll intended.

    Disrespect to another fully intended.

Looking atrocious (fake red hair, ridiculous getups, overweight), absolutely does not impede upon someone's ability to lead, but unethical behavior that is glutinous and self-serving (especially receiving a salary through taxpayers while owing taxes) definitely characterizes someone as a pig in my book.

  3. Is Paulette Braddock really a conservative as she contends?

Is Paulette Braddock really a good steward of our tax dollars?

Can Paulette Braddock really take care of the people’s business with the many problems that she faces in her private life?

    Good questions.

    No, no, and no!

  4. My name is Melissa Morrison and I am running for the State House Seat for the 19th District in the July 31st Republican Primary.

My website link is Melissa Morrison for Ga House Seat 19th Distrcit

I am a Constituional Conservative....a supporter of our Bill of Rights as well as all the amendments. My husband and I have lived in Paulding County since 1983. We moved our business to Paulding when we bought out the last of our partners in 1989 eventually operating out of 2 buildings in the North Industrial Park near the Sheriff's office with 25 employees.

When we downsized and sold off the manufacturing rights in 2006, I went to work for the Georgia Department of Agriculture. First in the Budget and Procurement office, and the following year I was asked to take the position as the administrative assistant to the Deputy Commissioner, Terry Coleman, Speaker Emeritus of the House. 2 years later when he left to run for state office I was transfered to the office of the State Veternarian, Dr.Carter Black III as his administrative assistant.

I left the Ag Department last February after I turned 62 and have decided to utilize my 30+ years of business experience and 5+ years working next to and under the Gold Dome to run for the House Seat for District 19.

I am asking for your support, campaign donations, sign placements, and any other help any of you can provide to help send me to the Gold Dome as your representative.

Good luck in your pursuits, Melissa. You are going to get this. You already have a following and you have the necessary life experience to do this job. But moreso, I admire your desire to bring strong character! Some people call themselves conservative, but their lives are not a reflection of that at all. Best wishes to you, and do not get distracted nor discouraged by a few flies that will try to distract you on your path.

  5. True, true. How unfortunate that way back when, even when some of us smelled a big rat, somehow Dave Carmichael, who was so credible, had integrity and real leadership ability, did not win against the empty shell of a "nobody's home" candidate for BOE. I'm still bitter over that one. Just think how some things would be different now.

  6. What a precious little baby. I'm so sorry you are going through this loss. Thank you so much for telling what happened so we can keep an eye out when that happens. I'm sure it was hard for you. I was crying too at the part you said you were crying! I hope you find that grief group when you are ready to share in person. May God be with you all who are missing your little boy. Mmmwaw!

  7. Okay can I just say I like many others are very shocked that this happened. I am not convinced that he had a relationship with the girl. I've known Coach Woodworth for about 4 or 5 years now. I have always thought he was a nice guy. I would never expect anything like that out of him. It could have been innocent and it could have been completely wrong. No he shouldn't have been at a park at night with a girl thats 17 years old however, we don't know what really went on. So no one should be judging him or jumping to conclusions. I'm 17 and I know for a fact I wouldn't ever do anything like that but still we don't know what happened. So I think that ya'll should quit accusing him and judging him when half of you might not know him. Just my opinion. With time the truth will come out. Yes teacher student relationships are very wrong especially since he has a wife and children but we are not positive it happened.

    Thanks.

Regardless if "it" happened, the incident happened. What people need to understand is that people like this don't wear a sign broadcasting their intentions. People who take advantage of kids are master manipulators. It's probably hard for you to see that side because of your age, but you girls need to be protected against this kind of thing. Even if a teen throws herself at a man who is 40, he should draw the line and not put himself in a bad position to even have the appearance of evil . . . especially if he is a figure of authority.

  8. I dream the same dream every night...It has the same person in it, an old friend and it has the number 400 in it in some way. I ALWAYS wake up at 4 am and its like I was dialing the friends number( I dont talk to them anymore, but its just distance not anger in anyway)...but they never answer....What could it mean????

I'm not a new-ager in any way, but just for fun, I wanted to give you my interpretation. The person in your dream represents someone in your life that you should be close with or want to be really closer to (perhaps a spouse, coworker, someone you want to date, or a buddy) that you feel like there is a disconnect with and it's bothering you on the inside but you guys haven't really worked through it, talked about it, or you just ignore it. You just long for this to be resolved, but they wont listen to you or you feel like you two can never connect on a real level. It just feels like a horribly unresolved issue and it's waking you up at night.

I have no idea about the 400. Ha ha. Maybe that's the number of times you have tried to talk to them or thought about it.

  9. I think that the reason that some of the companies were not selected is because they have a network of providers in metro Atlanta, but the more rural people would not have a place to go. Maybe those were the best state wide options for providing medical insurance.

Does anyone have any input on PPO or HMO?

(as far as cost differences in premiums as compared to the benefit to the patient)

  10. I was really impressed by his demeanor too. He was great with the interviewing. I saw him on another interview with Glen Beck today I think and he said that he really wanted to do some follow up questions when he had one of the candidates contradict himself in the answer or to simply not answer the question and go on a little tangent but he agreed in advance to not do follow-up questioning in the interest of time and getting as many questions in as possible.

Both candidates had some interesting responses, so it was worthwhile to watch, but weren't there moments when you sensed that they were just saying what they thought that a church congregation would expect to hear or prefer to hear?

  11. I don't think what you say is offensive. It's a legitimate concern. The drug is pure evil and is killing people and destroying families. It's heart wrenching to see and it's getting out of control. It's a great thing that there are these recovery groups available to people. Some people though - as you said - they just don't want help. Or as STAMP said, they have to hit rock bottom first. I just feel sooooooo bad for the kids entangled in this wicked web.

  12. Wow - I think it is ok to do a not so dark shade of lip gloss beginning in middle school. My daughter is 14 now and she just started in 8th grade wearing eye liner on top only and mascara. She started shaving this summer, but I have to say that I think it should depend on how visible the leg hair is and how much you trust your child with a razor. My daughter's hair was not that visible but I know some elementary girls who really did have long and dark hair and they just matured at a much younger age that way than mine did. I absolutely did not and still do not want my kid wearing any kind of foundation though because I feared that would ruin her complexion.

  13. I had BCBS for two years and HATED THEM!!!! The final last straw was when they CANCELLED my insurance WITHOUT TELLING ME!! I was without insurance for two months and didn't even have a clue. The only reason I found out is because I checked my bank account online and saw that their monthly payment has been refunded (I was on THEIR automatic bill-pay system that had automatically taken out the premiums every month for the last year and a half without a problem...). I thought this was weird, so I called them and they said they cancelled it due to non-payment. Ummm... hello? It was THEIR system that completely screwed up and they decided to cancel my insurance without sending me a single piece of mail, email, or even a phone call. I'm not a mind reader.

I asked them "What if I was in a car wreck during those two months?" and they didn't have an answer for me.

The second I got married in March I went on my husband's corporate insurances (best thing I ever did). The last two months I had BCBS they raised my premiums from $143 a month to $259 for absolutely no reason!!!!! I was seriously about to KILL THEM!

And I had a PPO, I could go to whatever doctor I wanted, but didn't get sick a SINGLE time the two years I had BCBS, so honestly it was a complete waste of money.

Their company is also horribly unorganized... the phone support is horrible and it takes 30+ minutes on the phone just to ask one question. Your "Personal online account" is a complete joke and has NO useful information on there...

Just my two cents, I just had a horrible experience with BCBS. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

P.S. We are on Cigna now and so far they have been really good. I went to the doctor for a tick bite and didn't pay a cent (i'm not sure why I didn't have a co-pay, but they said I didn't owe anything). My medication was also free (since publix gives away free antibiotics now). So my total doctors bill was a whopping $0.00.

Wow - This is good info.. Thanks. I am considering a switch from BCBS to Cigna and have not been very satisfied with BC. Also, my care providers get better payment from Medicaid patients than my paid insurance policy. I don't understand that at all! The doctors that I use don't like BCBS.

  14. Oh, wow. That sucks. I hate outlaws too. It pisses me off the audacity of some people and I think some of it has to do with a lack of CONSEQUENCES, so good luck when you go to court. I hope she gets more punishment than probation and a slap on the wrist for all the trouble she caused. You might be the only person who CAUGHT her doing this but a scammer is a scammer and who knows how many people she has victimized and caused this inconvenience and stress. People like that don't care what they put others through.
