I am surprised to hear people had difficulty doing business with this company. We have ALWAYS had good luck with them working with us. Even when we were having some credit difficulties, they were very good and got us a good deal on a good van at a good rate. When we went to trade our van and get a Durango, again they were GREAT to work with. Our credit had improved by this time and we again got a great deal on a great vehicle. Both of these occasions, we attempted to do business with another large car dealership in town but they did not want to work with us at all.
But, I do have a couple of questions. With my vehicle, I had lifetime free oil changes at Carl Black. Does this still apply at a different location? Also, I read on here where the cars were moved to Woodstock and then I read where the Kennesaw location is the only one remaining. Which is it??

It is amazing what you can get starting at $1,000. I am sure the selling price is much higher, but? I saw a segment on TV recently where homes were being sold in Marietta. A guy bought a really nice house for less than $20,000. It is wild.
If I understand correctly with what I hear at work...you have to bid the highest, then you have to continue with normal closing procedures. (ie approval, inspections, contract signings, etc..and all of this is pending seller approval)WHAT seller would approve to sell a house this cheap? If it is dependent on the seller approval, I would guess very few sells go through?

My office backs up to a person's house and they have a Rooster that crows ALL DAY LONG. I can't stand it~Cock A Doodle Dooooooo. What do I do to make that thing hush up?
Are you in an area with a noise ordiance or a law pertaining to barnyard animals? It is not as tho it is a dog or domestic animal causing the noise.

I need to get my teeth whitened. Several do-it-yourself kits are advertised on TV. Has anyone tried any of these? What were your experiences? Good or bad? Which would you recommend trying or staying away from? Does anyone know how much a dentist charges to do it professionally? Thank you for any and all recommendations and information.

I am so over American Idol, I stopped watching about two years ago. The only people that make money off of it are the creator, producers and judges. There have only been about 3 people who have won and have had a successful career in the entertainment business.

Idol has opened doors for more people than you probably can remember. They might not have a record in the top 10, but that does NOT mean they have not had a successful career in the entertainment business. (and made a lot of $$$)

I am really looking forward to this tonight. And, you are right, great food and entertainment = FUN! I always enjoy Wade's singing and love MacFarlane's food. But, I have never had a steak there and am in the mood for one. Any recommendations or comments re: MacFarlane's steaks?

He would have gave death sentences if the juror would have found him guilty, he already had the paper work finshed...
If found guilty of What? The jury found him GUILTY of ALL counts. WHAT MORE DID THEY NEED TO GIVE HIM DEATH? A complete waste of taxpayers money and the DA's office time. What I understood was the Judge could only give him life w/ or w/o parole b/c the jury did not sentence him to death. He did not have the option of death.
A slap in the face of the murdered victims families. Just like being victimized all over again.

I've done this and these are some of my favorite ornaments. I use 3 paints...silver, cream and rose...comes out looking like pink marble. Or....silver cream and blue...looks like blue marble. You can get really creative with your mix of colors. The secret to this is to swirl the clear ball, don't shake it, as you don't want to completely mix the colors together. Here's a pic of what mine look like.
How much of each color paint do you put inside the ball?? I would like to try that.
You can also use the same clear ornaments and put glitter, shredded decorative paper scrunched, little shiny cut-outs, etc. You could do an entire tree with the clear ornaments decorated different ways and it would be very pretty, I think.

All the turkey day leftovers have been vaccuum packed, sealed, labeled, and put in the freezer.
We did 2 fried birds, with the backs removed, and quarterd. A traditional baked one [have to placate the Mrs] and a new one this year, an Adobo marinated baked bird which was wonderful. It was definitely the juiciest bird even though all 4 were brined together.
The adobo sauce [ancho chiles, guajillo chilles, and a bunch of other herbs and spices pure'ed with vinegar and oil and smothered all over and inside the bird. And the gravy from the adobo bird was done separately as well and is going to be great for left overs down the road.
Everything had been packed away though.
My rule of thumb with turkey and chicken.....after 2 days, use it or lose it. What we don't eat by Saturday night goes into the freezer or to the dogs.
WOW that is a LOT of turkey. Hope you had a lot of folks eating with ya. One helping of turkey during the Thanksgiving meal will hold me over until NEXT Thanksgiving. Just do not care for the taste of turkey, regardless of how it is cooked. I have tried it multiple ways and always with the same result, "Thanks but No Thanks".

There is another lengthy thread about this. Was just announced "BREAKING NEWS" on CBS noon news that PCSO asked them to report there has NOT been a shooting a PCHS as has been reported and they are looking for a gun. They said it had been reported someone had taken a gun to school but so far they have not found a gun. They said there is a heavy police presence at the school.
