The city of Hiram CANCELLED the Red, White, & Boom fireworks show due to inclement weather. The fireworks show was supposed to take place on Friday July 5, 2013. The City of Hiram stated that they will reschedule the event at a later date.

Dallas Theater and Civic Center March 24th - Sunday; 2:00pm April 4, 2013 marks the 36th anniversary of the worst air disaster in Georgia history. Seventy-two people died that day including nine local Paulding County residents when a Southern Airways DC-9, Flight 242 crashed in the Paulding County community of New Hope.
