Classes have started and we have been closing classes that are full. Please check with our website to stay updated with class closings, and the new classes added to our schedule.

Come and take dance classes to get into shape. No performances, no need to learn any dances, no skimpy dance clothes....just come and work out!!!! We have several options for Adults to come and work out on different days for only. Just $30.00 a month!!! stretch and fitness class on Tuesdays 6-7 p.m. Hip Hop Abs and Video Jazz Class on Tuesdays 7-8 p.m. Adult Ballet, Stretch and Barre Class on Wednesdays 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Axis Dance Center is accepting currently registration for Fall dance classes!! We are open Monday-Thursday evenings 5 p.m.-9 p.m. Classes have been filling up very fast. As each class fills we close them and have added new classes to our schedule!! We are also extending our Law Enforcement Special for another year!! Take his clothes out of his room. Just put them in you room and lock them up. Give him what you want him to wear and leave nothing for him to change it to. It sounds like this would be hard, but it really isn't. We did this with our autistic 4 year old son, he was mad for a while, but it worked and after a summer of this, you should be able to put the clothes back and him understand that if he doesn't follow your rules, he will just have them taken away again. If they are married she can put him down whether or not he objects. Then it is up to him to challenge it and the court may still tell him tough and to pay...the father's rights are still a sticky mess in courts. Watched my brother go through something similar and he fought with his now ex for 5 years that the second child she had after they had separated wasn't his (and she isn't) but he still pays for her and now wouldn't do anything less than take care of her as his own(she belongs biologically to the boyfriend at that time his ex had). Carter's Lake about an hour and half North of us...spans several counties. Love to spend a day on the lake, in the playground sprinklers with the kids, hiking...and it only costs 5.00 to park.

Cartersville has a great downtown square. They always have events going on, lots of neat shops, and many resteraunts to choose from. I think they would be a nice model for Dallas. We really have enjoyed going to several of the festivals on the square in Cartersville, and it still maintains a small town feel. The worst part is traffic, but I think all town square tend to have that problem, I know Marietta and Columbus does. Columbus also has a nice and newly renovated historic downtown district.

You wouldn't believe the mess of beads we had this week!!! The girls had a great time though...despite glue and scraps of fabric everywhere in the front dance room!! Wait until you see all the pics!!

We still have a couple of spots still left for next week's "Beach Theme" dance camp. The camp is 9 a.m.- 12p.m. Monday through Friday. We will be dancing, tumbling, and making many crafts, ex: lei's, grass skirts, flip flops, surf boards, beach bags and more!!! I would love either a Borders or Books-A-Million. Small book stores or used book never have anything I want or my kids really want. They are nice in theory, just usually don't have a large selection. Right now I drive to Acworth for a bookstore, sometimes all the way into Kennesaw. When we go, we usually spend a small fortune. My kids, husband and I love to read...so between the 7 of us, we usually get two or more books at a time!!!

On Friday, May 22, 2009 at 7 p.m. Axis Dance Center will be having their first dance review at the Dallas Theater. Axis is very proud to be presenting "Dance: Across The Universe". The show will include singing and dancing, as well as special guest performances by Broadway dancer/choreographer, Shane Hall and musician Kat Wilson. Other performances by: Axis Dance Force, Axis dance students, as well as dancers/choreographers Jenny Sparks, Melanie Moran, and Amy Cadenhead. I am so glad she likes it!! She has been a great addition to her class and is so sweet!

We have out grown our studio and are now moving into a larger facility in the Seaboard Business Center on Seaboard Drive off Hwy 278. We will be in suite 202 starting on Monday, March 30th...We are all very excited about the new building and larger dance rooms...we will also have 20 foot ceilings and some of the largest dance rooms in the area. We will still have a sprung wood floor and a sprung marley floor. We would love to have you stop by and visit us!!

I love both of Blaire's dresses....they look really cute with long sleeves and leggings!!! She got the zebra print and camo!!! They are just adorable!

Come and join Chris Carter for a Hip Hop Master class. Chris is a part of the Emory Dance Department and specializes in Hip Hop infused with lyrical, jazz, contemporary, and J-sette. We are very happy to be having Chris come and teach a class for us Axis Dance Center. The class will be on Saturday, March 14 from 2-5 p.m. The class cost is $15.00 per student.
