  1. i was thrilled to death when i saw they were reopening!!! yay!! i hate having to drive all the way to home depot to get a pack of 3.00 screws or something or having to get a whole box when i only need four of that kind!! I bought mulch there yesterday...little higher but with gas prices in my truck well worth it!!! HAPPY DANCE!!!

  2. What does one have to do to promote something....do a scene? give me some info :D

i second that...me and hubby would love to find out if we can bring our props and set up a scene or if its just businesses or non profit groups doing it? Trust me....it takes us about two weeks of hard work to set up for halloween and would love for more to see all our creations> will there be a pumpkin carving contest or the like cause this family can do some SERIOUS carving.

  3. post-22361-1251772753.jpgpost-22361-1251772808.jpgNot sure this is gonna allow but will try to attach pics...if not i will have to find other means of posting it somewhere cause he really needs the cash more than the extra tv right now for tags and emmisions. He is asking 100.00 since its only a few years old and a very good television.
  4. one of the many chicken casserole recipes from my topic last week or so. Decided on two at the time...one to freeze for trip and one for lunch...just going on down the list tonight but i used leg quarters instead of the breast cause they were way too high this week at publix and hubby prefers anyways. Turned out really well.....with green beans picked this morning and corn from my mothers in jasper. garlic cheese biscuits also. But HR was not impressed and wanted me to get back up and fix her eggs and pancakes...ha. (i didnt!!)

  5. SHe also had Bobo road area and had been my carrier since long before i became ill. She stopped and literally got out and visited with me when she saw me with my walker and wanted to know "where the heck i had been" and ever since then we have chatted and visited and she was just a warm loving person. I was told today by a knock on my door by the sub delivery lady because I have been asking about her regularly since she became ill. It started out operable and then just spread so quickly nothing could be done. She ALWAYS had her hair in a ponytail and a ball cap on if that helps anyone recognize her as their carrier as well.

My sincere condolences and I am gonna try to go by the funeral home as well. She really helped cheer me a few times when i had just about given up and we werent what you could call "friends"

  6. oh my!!!! if you happen to run across some that are Blue Willow or at least Blue china patterns you can do that with you can consider at least four sold!

Blue and white are my kitchen colors although the counter is grey and rest of stuff is black...go figure

  7. Is this the same Osborne who used to own the Osborne outlet store behind New Hope church? There was also later an Osbornes Storage just adjacent to it? I live within walking distance and was wondering if this is the same family. I am sorry for your loss and sending good wishes.

  8. we did our own when we renovated the house and moved back in....out of all the major work the basement was definitely the biggest pain in the butt. Wish you luck and hope it all goes smooth and you get the right person for the job. (the textured walls and vaulted ceilings were a breeze compared to the whole drop ceiling and working around plumbing and all in the basement....you are in for listening to lots of "ouches" before its over so be prepared...ha)

  9. Satellite Radio.

That's the only one I know of.

crap...i was really hoping someone knew of one on am or something. i love the pandora on computer but of course that wont play out there and then there is comcast but same problem...dangit....guess i will just have to make some cds cause i knew it does play those. Hubby has those gas station cds "rockin 80's" and "one hit wonders of the 80's"" and the like out there...ugh!!!!! the 80's sucked and i dont wanns be reminded..ha

  10. very nice...i particularly like the two tone types but only have the stargazers which started blooming last week. First thing i did when i got home from hospital on friday was grab a vase and go cut some to bring in...added some snowballs to it for the blue color and now my house smells so goooodd.

  11. Is there a dang radio station that plays Sinatra, Fred Astaire and the like in Atlanta? My husband got an old stereo out of an empty apt. and put it in the big shed/workshop. I can hear it out in the garden and yard but he is still living in 1984 and listens to 97.1 for the most part. (i hate the 80's crap personally) I like current stuff but kinda would like a change to the older stuff from time to time if there is a station out there in radio land. It gets both am and fm but ya cant really SEE the stations and doesnt have an auto tuner where it just goes to the next station like in a car. Anybody know of one?

  12. and i thought the poor kid who stumbled into the roses and got literally STUCK in them at lgms 16th birthday was bad!!!! (his parents were the very overprotective type and it scared the crap out of me when i had to bandage him up not to mention dig him out!!) I cant imagine ANYONE having the funds to throw a grad. party for their kid that size but i suppose they do have them....just wonder why there werent more adults to supervise??? I would have recruited every friend i had to help chaperone and any parent i could if i expected that many kids. Then again i am assuming myself that half the crowd wasnt adults. Hope they find the person though and he is brought to justice. Sorry for the family to have to go thru that on such a special day.

  13. have a really good week with him....i have been thru this and couldnt bring myself to go with to the airport when he had to leave again. One note, if you dont have one already....go get your pictures made somewhere...just the two of you...with him in uniform.(i wanted my son in camo but that is a big no no off base)..meant a lot to me at the time and still does.

  14. He is a lot fun to play with, he loves to bite onto a rope knot and then get swung in a circle. And as 'bad' as he is, when he plays with Milton (one of my Chi's) he'll get on his belly or back to be at the same height.

My saints favorite game is tug of war too but YOU TRY swinging a 170 pound dog around in a circle!!!! ha. Love the bunny pic...sweet.

  15. i jumped off the tailgate of my truck instead of climbing down this week and i thought my ankles were gonna jam all the way up to my eyeballs!!!!! (and i only weigh 105!) Not a kid anymore either!!!
