  1. SOOOOOO, I guess the fire that my neighbors son and his friend have in the backyard right now, the same one they are throwing gasoline on, would be a violation. They are burning wood and debris from redoing their front steps. No adults in sight. This is the same kid that drives around the neighborhood. He's 12.

If you call 911 the Fire Dept can go out & investigate if it is a legal burn or not. If not they'll have the home owner put it out. Most get a warning but there are citations & fines for repeat offenders ;)

  2. This guy is awesome. You just don't find 'em like Subby anymore- honest, hard working, friendly- the real deal! His reputation means the world to him & he stands by his work. More than fair prices & superb quality. He's got a customer for life here!

*no relation or affiliation, just really impressed with his character & work!*

  3. R.I.P Perry! Prayers for the Nash family. I will always picture you riding circles around your house on the dirtbike.

Karen, please let your friends know how they can support you during this time. My heart goes out to you & your boys, you will be continually in our prayers.

    Love ya!

  4. I'm sure the worms/trojans can do it, but it seems to be more of a trendy defense tactic because the investigator can't say for sure that the contraband file came from the virus. My guess is that in this guy's case, they will have log files from the ISP that show he downloaded the files they found so his defense probably won't work.

And his account records, or did this trojan purchase the kiddie porn for him? Artwork for a class? Yuck! There is NO excuse for having life size pictures of naked 7 year olds hidden in the closet. None.

  5. I have a question on this topic...if I see a baby or an animal locked in a hot car, of course I'll call 911 right away...but I will also break the window or try to break into the vehicle. Yes, I really would do it. Now my question: Will I get in trouble, as in arrested? Not that it would deter me from doing it, I am not the type of person to walk away from doing the right thing even if I have to pay for it.

PM me and I'll personally bail you out if you were! I'd hope common sense would prevail and you'd receive a medal, nt cuffs!

  6. The school is in Villa Rica, I stated that could be misleading because not many people know that the small area there on Mulberry Rock is Villa Rica, not Dallas. Mr. Wilson used to live off Marshall Fuller in Paulding Co before moving to Spartangburg, SC. I understand that is where he is serving his bond conditions at this time- home restriction with GPS monitoring (ankle bracelet probably)

  7. I see Pubby's pinned topic now.

I understand the investigation stemmed from websites & purchases he made- not from allegations at the school but why in the world were parents not notified of this??? Many of the students Mr. Wilson dealt with on a daily basis in 2003-2005 were special needs students- the ones without a voice! He was also involved in children's bible studies & tutoring outside of school. He was actively teaching in our district when he was arrested- how is this just now coming to light?

A wolf in sheep's clothing among us. And gives other male teachers with a true love for teaching & mentoring their students a terrible reputaion to contend with.

  8. I have no words for this. He was my children's teacher for many years. First in a special needs program then as the art teacher for New Ga Elem. This just makes me sick. So glad he is no longer in our schools. Referring to New GA Elem as a Villa Rica School is quite misleading. It is a Paulding Co School this man taught at.

A former Villa Rica school teacher was indicted last week on charges of possession of child pornography.

Joseph Monroe Wilson, 43, who taught at New Georgia Elementary School, a school in the Paulding County Schools district, was arrested last Thursday. A $150,000 bond was set for him during a hearing yesterday.

  9. Good luck! My recent graduate thought he could wait until summer break to find a job. . . he's still looking. . . and probably will be for awhile. The "good" jobs with desirable hours are hard to come by. Shoot, these days a job period is hard to come by. You'll have to pay your dues in the working world until you have the education or resume credintials to get better hours/money.

My brother has an Engineering degree from Southern Poly but works at the call center for Home Depot- nights & weekends too. Not what he wants to be doing but it pays the bills. . . .

  10. As a current stay at home mom (laid off in August 2010) it will be the first time in 10 years that I've been able to spend any real time with our four kids during the summer. :yahoo: I am excited about that! But... the 4 yr old broke his arm last week. Long arm cast for the next 4 weeks, that changed our plans. Still looking for some reasonably priced ideas for what we can do- Free tickets would be awesome :clapping:
