I am so full of pride and joy right now that I had to share it with everybody! Victoria is a 4th grader at Mt. Paran Christian School - this year they started a chorus for the 4th & 5th graders. The chorus will be singing at nursing homes, games, and other events. My baby tried out and she is one of the 24 that made it!!!

Thank you for the post!

Well - I must say that last week, we went on vacation. I didn't have a computer so I went into pcom withdrawals. I kept thinking about what I was missing! I need to get a lap top so on the next vacation - I can have my daily dose of pcom!!!!

I must say that I'm very disappointed that Bruce Harris was re-elected. In my opinion, he has not done much in the 11 years he has been in office. Well, the drug traffic has increased.

At last count, I had over 50 pairs of shoes and that was after I gave 2 trash bags full to the homeless shelter. The bad thing is my 9 year old daugher and 2 year old son have the same shoe fetish. We can't pass up a shoe sell!! My poor husband only has 3 pairs of shoes.

We always eat at the Capablo's in Powder Springs - the food and service is better than the one in Hiram. I've heard that the wing place next to K-Mart is pretty good. I've also heard a rumor that the Grand Slam will be opening back up under a new name and management.

A couple weeks ago...we adopted a beautiful lab mix which the kids named Harley from the shelter. The $ 25.00 we spent was well worth it. The kids love for Harley to chase them. The only family member that does not like him is the Rocky - our cat. Thank you to the shelter for taking great care of the animals before families like mine can adopt them!!
Thank you!!

My husband just came back from the shelter. He got a 7-week old blonde lab-mix for the kids. I will post a picture of our new addition once I get home to see him.

I drive over 50 miles daily to Kennesaw which includes dropping my son off at the sitters in Marietta and my daughter at school in Kennesaw, picking her up after school and taking her to the sitters and then back to work.
