  1. Oh and to the op - you need some B-vit also....you sound very stressed from your dreams. :o

Well, I'm a vegetarian, so I do take B-12 every night. Is there another B-vitamin I should take besides that? It does sound a little crazy, I know. It's actually kinda funny, but my dreams are something I have always wondered about. I can definitely see them being projected from my fears.

I'm good at dream interpretation - but I have to know the person very well or ask a lot of questions - since dreams (imho) is your mind processing over events, concerns and new info.

    OK! Start asking!

  2. I don't have alot of dreams. But my DH has dreams that his teeth are falling out all the time. Someone once told us that means death. And he had that dream every night 3 night straight . Diff things happened in his dreams but his teeth fell out in all of them. and both my grandfathers died 1 day apart. Kinda creeps me out.

    Eeeewww! That IS creepy!

  3. Mine come and go in cycles. For awhile, it's always something happening to my dad. He's a cop, and every single night (in my dreams) he dies a different tragic way.

    Those suck.

The other cycle is HR. Every single night she's kidnapped, murdered, hit by a car, falls and breaks her neck on the playground, and a myriad of other horrible, awful tragic things a mother should never have to see...even in her dreams. This has been going on since last year sometime.

    Every.Single.Night.

Good thing is I'm a multiple-dreamer. I wake up after the tragic dream, fall asleep, and dream something completely off the wall but good.

Oh no! How awful. I hate that you dream those things.

  4. Do you have recurring dreams? I have a few:

    1. I have recurring dreams about tornados, and I can't get all my dogs in the basement in time or I can see the tornado coming, but I can't move to get away. :(

    2. Snakes are all over my yard and I'm trying to walk through them, but they are everywhere!! They jump up at me, but I never get bitten.

    3. I'm in a public restroom, and I sit on the toilet seat and there's pee all over it, or my butt falls in all the way and touches the water. OR, I step in poo or touch something really gross! I've even had one where I was changing my clothes, and I dropped them all on the floor in standing water! ICK!!! FYI - I have MAJOR public restroom phobia!!!! :bad:

    4. Another one is where I'm in school, ususally college, and I realize I haven't been to class all semester, and I have to take a test. AHHH!! And I'm so upset that I'm going to fail! :fool:

  5. OMG. You need to look that up and see what it means. I have dreams reoccuring dreams about tornadoes. I sometimes dream about snakes and spiders too. More snakes than spiders.

I have recurring tornado dreams too! CREEPY!! I also have recurring dreams about snakes being all over my yard, and one where I'm in school and I realize I haven't been in class all semester and another one where I'm always in a public restroom (I have public restroom phobia) and I accidentally touch something gross. AWFUL!! I think I'm starting a new thread about this.

  6. Do y'all know how creeped out I am right now??? EEEKK!! I have goosebumps all over. I have had that same type of spider on my front porch, and it seems like no matter how many times I wipe out it's home, it keeps coming back. ICK! And you're right, they are scardy spiders too. That's why it isn't dead YET! I can't ever get to him..he always ducks back in a hole or crack before I can get to him. Not that I want to get to him, because the mere thought of killing spiders almost sends me into a panic attack!

  7. OK LISTEN!!! I HAVE THE BEST WAY TO GET BACK AT MAIL SOLICITORS!!!! Seriously, I love this!

    Here's what you do:

You know how junk mail alwaya comes with a return envelope and the postage is paid. Well, next time you get junk mail, open it up, take out the return envelope, but pack it FULL of other junk mail, ads, trash or whatever crap you can find. Seal it up and drop it in the mail. HAHAHAHA!!

If they can send you their junk, why can't you send them yours?!?! This way, they have to PAY for your returned mail. I love this idea. :good:

  8. Ok, we are about to start the third week after her first injection of the heartworm treatments.

She has been doing very well. She hasn't lost too much of her appetite, and she isn't any more lethargic than normal.

However, we have noticed that she has started to cough a little over the past two days. It is a mild, dry hack. Nothing has come up with the cough.

    My question is:

Is this normal??? Am I panicking too much when I hear her cough. I get so nervous when she coughs.

    Any thoughts?

It's probably ok, but I would put a call in to your vet in the morning just in case. You can never be too sure. The main concern with HW treatment is that the worms actually get lodged and they can't breathe. That's why they say to avoid exertion at all costs.

One of my dogs had HWs when we found her. Her treatment went great. She never seemed to have any side effects or anything noticeable.

    Good Luck!!

  9. My son slept in our room in his crib from birth to 2.5 years. Just about a month ago he started sleeping in his room in his big boy bed and, thank GOD, he LOVES IT!! We haven't had any problems excpet when it's storming, he's a little scared. I kind of think I'm more scared than he really is. I put all kinds of things in there that he likes: a cool pillow, lots of stuffed animals, lights, fluffy bedding, Lightning McQueen night light...so he feels happy. NO T.V. though! I'm not getting that started!

Now, the potty training thing: I AM CLUELESS! My son wants NOTHING to do with it. We talk about it, and he can tell me he needs to change his diaper, but when it comes to actually going on the potty...forget it. We tried underwear, but he just pees in it and runs around with wet underwear with no cares in the world. If it doesn't bother him, then what can I do? I've decided to put potty training off a couple more months. He won't be 3 for 2 more months, so I'm not in a huge hurry.

Good luck, and let me know what works.

  10. Girrrrrrrl! Don't EVEN get me started on Sprint/Nextel! Worst service I've ever had. Dropped calls several times a day if I even got service at all.

I LOVE VERIZON! I seriously, not exaggerating, never lose calls...no matter where I am! I really think they've got their crap together when it comes to service areas.

  11. I do get aggreviated showing my card at the door. One time I got a case of water and it was leaking after getting to my truck finally with my purchases. I took the water back in stood in another line and had to fill out a return just to swap for a non leaking water. All while at customer service the girl was talking on the phone in no hurry while my groceries were in the truck. I had stuff that would ruin waiting on her to finish her consveration. That made me a little mad there. But I do like thier meats and I buy alot of drinks there also. So I keep going back for more punishment. :fool:

That reminds me...I purchased a bag of trail mix once @ Sam's and when I got to the car, I realized it was open. So, I had to go back in and they made me fill out something, go get the item, bring it back, do some more paperwork, then I was basically "frisked" on my way back out. Slightly annoying!

  12. Yeah I never did understand having to check you and recheck you and recheck you again! I guess there is a reason why they do, but do they think people are going in and getting out with items without having shown their card somewhere along the way? I don't shop there anymore. I always ended up spending too much money, although I was supposed to be saving money. Hmmm?? :unknw:

  13. Me, too. Of course, I got around that by spending the night (or not) at someone's house who didn't have a curfew. They will find a way.

Not me. If I had ever done that, and my mom found out, I would have never been able to go anywhere without her. She would have made my life miserable!! Spending the night ANYWHERE would have been out of the question. She was way smarter than that. My mom meant business, and she made darn sure we were always where we were supposed to be. :good:

  14. I would tell for sure. You are really doing this kid a favor if you talk to her parents. Nothing good is going on late at night, and no young girl should be out running the streets!

Put a big pile of dog poo under the window!!!

You should let the parent know to watch for themself. The one on one confrontation with the teenager may do the most good.

I had my neighbor follow my daughter and her friends to make sure they were safe AND find out who all was in on the escapes!!

I found ouy way more than I wanted to know!!!

Do let them know. Some may not care, I hope they do.

Ooooh! That's a good one. I want to be hired to be the one to follow them. I would love to find out and tell! HAHAHAHA!! SneakY!

  15. My male lab is driving me insane!! No not the usual stuff like barking, chewing and jumping I understand that and deal with it. He dosen't jump much anymore ;) So this is the thing and he has done this since he was big enough. I like to water the dogs with a 5 gal bucket. Never had a dog that didn't like it. So I put out the bucket, mind you water weighs 8.333 lbs per gal and it is over 40 #. He drinks his fill then BAMMM!! Knocks it over. If I put one out for the female he will knock it over too. Sooo I got the small plastic pool from Walmart. I've watered the dogs this way too. He will drag it off and chew the stupid thing up. Plan C Got the big 2' diam. Galv. wash tub from HD, $20 and it leaks replaced it twice, any way easily holds 10 gal. Almost 100 #. He drags it off and dumps it too. The poor female just looks at him like " hey a$$hole, thats my water too and it's friggin hot out here!!" Then he has the nerve to bark and tell me he wants water.   I swear this dog hates water!! Anybody have any ideas?

HA HA HA HA HA!!  Nope, no answers for you, but it does make me laugh...especially knowing my dogs aren't the only wierdos! I can just picture your dog doing this. I know it's annoying, but you gotta laugh! How smart is he?!?!?! :D

  16. I do not live in a sub-division, but on a county road and about 3 weeks ago our dogs were doing the same thing and it was on a Saturday morning around 2:30AM and they were so disturbed and our inside dog was doing the same. My husband got up and went outside and there was a man at the foot of our driveway in jeans and white t-shirt smoking a cigeratte. My husband shot his shotgun up in the air and the man walked off into the woods. He did not run, he just strolled off into the woods. We alarmed our neighbor next door and told her not to go to her door if she heard anything. It is kind of stupid, this day and time to be walking into people's yards at 2:30AM and 3:30AM in the morning if they value their limbs and life. People are so afraid of invaders that they will shoot you thinking you mean harm to them or you would not be in their yard at that hour of the morning.

SERIOUSLY!! People just don't have any business lurking around like that. It's creepy! Good for your husband for scaring him off...even if he didn't run, he at least knew your hubby meant business.

  17. This has happened to me before too. I called on some youngsters who were driving in a Jeep Wrangler on 278 by Bodyplex and the passenger was holding a maybe 6-mo old baby on her lap...no seatbelts, carseat, nothing. Anyway, they turned into the Bodyplex complex, and I turned around and went there and waited, but no officer ever showed up. I did the same thing you did... when I got home I pulled up the scanner archives, and it wasn't on there. Hmmm??? <_<

  18. CUTE! I think sometimes my dogs dream they are running, because they will literally be laying there and start moving their legs like they are running while they are still laying down. They even do this little muffled bark thing like they are barking in their dream, but it's not loud like when they are really barking. DOGS ROCK!
