I got these for registering my niece for free baby stuff....but her baby was born 2 months premature and has to be on special formula so she can't use it. My daughter had the same thing two weeks ago, right after my oldest had strep and she was diagnosed with scarlett fever. And they basically treated it the same as the strep with amoxicillian.
Could be a reaction to the antibiotic....but with my daughter her face was SO red like she had been slapped on the cheeks and then the rash spread all over her body and her tongue had a strawberry type appearance to it.
If your not sure definitely take her to the doctor....scarlett fever can be very serious and is VERY contagious!!

Just because you do all the LEGAL things you are suppose to when driving does not mean the people around you do! Actually A LOT of them DON"T or we wouldn't have the accidents and problems that we do. Maybe you would not feel that way about being inconvenienced or stopped whithout cause etc... if you knew that a drunk driver had just been stopped ahead of you and your life or children's lives were saved becuase of that road block!
Sorry but i see no problem with them whatsoever and think there should be MORE! I have lived in Paulding for the past 11 yrs and only encountered ONE! So i don't think they are being abused at all. I think most of the people that have a problem with them are the people that have something to hide or think they are too important to have to be stopped. The police are there for our protection....not to inconvenience you. Let them do their job and be greatful for them.

A hero to me is someone that does things without thought for themselves or what they will get out of it. A person with a good heart, good intentions that does the right thing becuase it's the right thing, not becuase anyone is watching. Someone who lives life the way God intended it to be lived. Someone who gets up time after time of being knocked down and doesn't let it change them unless it is for the better.
There are many heros like firemen, policemen, paramedics, doctors, soldiers etc....and Lord only knows where we would be without those brave people.... But to me the true definition of a hero is someone that does it just becuase....not becuase it is their job or for the recognition or fame they do it becuase it is the only way they know!
My grandmother was my hero. She was a pillar of strength for our family and taught us so many things....the biggest thing being to have faith....in yourself, in others and in your religion. And to always do the right thing....whether someone is watching or not becuase YOU still have to live with yourself!

I know the feeling. Scarlet Fever does come from Strep. I missed the Strep because of the Chicken Pox thing. Long, scary story on that, but that isn't part of this.
The rash is awful. Like I said, she peeled like a sunburn from it. It was pitiful. Baths, fluids, rest. That's about it. Lots of fluids because of the fever and because of the burning skin.
Edited to add: My baby is almost 18. This was almost 14 years ago. They may have some new things now.
Thanks for the advice.....i know it's no big deal now....but remember when i was younger and how scary it was when a friend got it....so i am feeling a little freaked out.

I have done the bath already and the rash had disappeared somewhat...but has now come back full force. I just checked on her (sleeping) she is sweating something awful and very restless.
My oldest daughter had strep earlier in the week...so we think that is where this is coming from. I have 4 kids, so now i am just hoping it doesn't go one right after the other like everythin else!
What makes me mad is that the one that is sick was at a friends house since last night...the rash was just starting to show on her face when she left, I thought it was wind burn....anyway she stayed at the friends house all day today and the mother calls me at 5:30PM and tells me the rash is covering her entire body, she has been in bed all day refusing to get up and eat or anything...she thinks she is running a fever but doesn't have a thermometer and do i want to leave her or come and get her??? HELLO!!! Why in the **** did i not get a call first thing this morning???
So now i get to call and tell her that she needs to watch her daughter becuase this is very contagious and dangerous if not caught early enough!

I haven't heard of scarlett fever in yrs.....and now my daughter who is 7 has it and someone says they heard it was going around. She is so very sick....covered in a rash, high fever and absolutely pitiful.....breaks my heart!

definitely try chiropractor....i used one with all four of my children and he was a God send. There were days i could barely hobble in to his office, then walked out feeling great. GOOD LUCK!!

Thank you so much for posting the letter. The media only reports on the bad over there and not the GOOD that is truly happening. I thank every soldier no matter what branch they come from for the freedom that I am privy to today. My father is a vietnam vet and the HELL that he went through upon returning home from fighting for a country that did not appreciate it just makes me crazy angry.
My hat is off to all the families and their loved ones that serve the way they do. They are the reason we can voice our opinions the way we do on here! GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS!

Interesting opinions on here. I am shocked that Hillary won over Oprah.....what has she done really?? Except let her husband make a fool of her in front of the entire world....break the law...lie about breaking the law......PLEASE. Personally I say show me one honest politician and it would be a miracle.
Yes Oprah is someone looked up to and admired by men and women alike....she has overcome a lot of things in her life and she gets across to people becuase she is human and not afraid to show it or talk about it.
But HILLARY.....PLEASE are people really that stupid?? Well I guess the fact that her husband was elected twice tells that story doesn't it.
