I work out of my home a lot. I have Bellsouth internet (high speed). Between 4:00 and 7:00, periodically I have trouble getting past "searching for the IP address" and then it sits and sits. I have to start over. Then finally it breaks loose and I can search. Anybody else having this trouble with that service. I think it's an overload during that time, but should not be. My exchange comes from Marietta but I should not be having this trouble. I had their TV service, free during the testing phase so the lines are good here.

Any of the state parks are free on Wed. (Except Picketts Mill which is only open Th.-Sat.) There is swimming, fishing, a playground and walking trails at Red Top Mountain. Lake Acworth beach is free during the week. Story times at the library are lots of fun too. Many of the local theaters have kid shows once a week. Lots of places have outdoor free movies. Playgroups with friends at different houses - new toys are always a hit. Get bubbles, sidewalk chalk and a sprinkler and play outside. Read stories together. There are plenty of places that are pretty cheap in Atlanta. If you get a membership to the zoo, you'll be set all summer!
and of course if all else fails, you are welcome to come clean my house, and i will play with him in the pool. lol

He told me yesterday, that he would be open today (Friday), and of course I went through the store and picked up a few things.

I stopped today at the v between 381 and 61 where there was a car dealership years ago. and they are opening a salvage store.
the name of it is Brooks Salvage, the same one that is located in Cedartown. This guy was at hiram-sudie two weeks ago with some things he was selling.
anything just about you are looking for can be found here, but at salvage prices. I bought Hidden Valley Ranch and experation date was dec. 2009 so it was in date, and for a dollar a bottle, Helman's mayo still good in date for a dollar a jar.
he is opening tommorrow, so stop by a take a look.

Here is how I do it .. mine comes out pretty good .. been doing it for about 3 years now.
Cut a bar of soap into 3 pieces. Take one of those pieces, chop it up very fine and boil in a small pot until it's all liquid.
Then I bring out my 2 gallon jug ... I pour the liquid in
Then I add 1/2 cup of borax and 1/2 cup of washing soda
I fill the jug with hot water .. put the lid on and shake
that simpledoes this clean the clothes really good? does your whites look yellow?

if any one is out shopping and happen to see a store that has electric blanket/heating blanket, please let me know where they have them, i have looked and can't find any. my sweetie's died, and he says he needs another one.

hubby got a bonus (would have been nice to have it b4 Christmas but whatever
)....anyways I was thinking of getting the kids a wii for their b-days. I know nothing about a wii so give me the good, the bad and the ugly and tips. Arent they hard to find? How much are they? Are they all the same?they are tons of fun, but you do have to be careful where you are when you are playing, I have learned not to sit on the arm of the sofa, I have fallen off twice while playing and drove my tail bone up my neck, the second time this happened to me I ended up and had to go to the chiroprator, geeze probably didn't spell that right, but I am not doing a spelling bee here, so any way go grab you a wii, you will enjoy it . oh I don't sit the arm of the sofa any longer

I love mine too but I do notice if you are trying to adjust the hot water down then mine sometimes goes all the way cold until it gets warm again. Don't know if it is something that is set wrong or not but hubby said something about its switch or something. I'll find out and post later. Other than that you can't beat having hot water when you want it. Oh, and it is not automatically hot. It still has to warm up.
And you may have known that but i'm kinda dumb about this stuff. But, we got ours free b/c hubby won it from a company that sells them so I have NO complaints really.

I went to Cleveland TN. today to pick up my fresh pork at the processing plant, and while I was there, a lady found out that I lived in GA. she said her daughter had been missing since May of 2005, and that they (the family, nor anyone has heard from this daughter) since. The Mother that I talked with said in 2001 that her son drowned and now her daughter has been missing since May of 2005, that she has just about lost her mind. She ask me if I would post this info somewhere that it might be seen, that maybe , just maybe someone has seen this lady. I don't know these people, but my heart breaks for this Mom, she had already lost a son and her daughter is missing and has been for a long while. sorry the pic that she gave me with the info on it is not very good, but I promised her I would post it.

Prayers for the deputy's children and family. My daughter is a Paulding officer, and when someone called to tell her the sad news, I don't think I will ever forget the scream, she was so broken up, and so sad she knew someone in the family of the other driver. Prayers of all the Paulding officers, and all that worked with this deputy, it is so very hard for them. and Prayers for the driver and family of the other vehicle.

Last night Cody was shot accdentily..He is in Kennestone ICU fighting for his life..Please say a prayer for Cody to get better..
Cody worked for Clarks and attendend Paulding Co High..Frankie Bryant is his mom, she drives a Paulding Co Schoolbus..
When you go to church tomorrow please say a prayer for the Bryant family.

I have heard this now from several well-informed sources, so I wanted to pass this along in case this is the scenario that unfolds.
If so, let's pray it backfires on him, but we need to be prepared to deal with it head on, and not be too shocked into a delay of heavy action for the last few weeks of the campaign process.
If you pay attention to the underlying news for years, you already know that the Democrats really are willing to pull any dirty trick possible, no matter how corrupt, immoral or unprecedented
The Democrats know they're in big trouble since the effectiveness of Sarah Palin, so this is a strong rumor about what they are planning to do about it.
On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary Clinton.
This is intentionally timed to occur after the VP debate on 10/2.
I have already seen a few short preparatory blurbs about this - the "health problem" cited in those articles is an aneurysm. Probably many of you have heard the same rumblings. However, at this point, with this inside info from the DNC, it looks like this Obama strategy will be a go.
From that date of October 5th, there will be 5 short weeks of campaigning left. The obvious intent would be “Shock and Awe”….to explode Democrat enthusiasm and create a 5 week momentum to election day while the Republicans are unprepared, shocked and paralyzed, without time to even catch our breath while we waste precious time debating if the Dem’s can even legally manipulate it to begin with. We already know that the Democrats would have full enthusiastic cooperation from the media to help create 5 weeks of hysteria, smoke and mirrors. Then suddenly we wake up on November 5th and read that our two worst nightmares are in place to desecrate the United States of America for the next 4+ years. The stage is set for this folks.
Some Republicans are suggesting that a good strategy is to get out in front of this Obama maneuver, spell it out in detail, and thereby expose it for the grand manipulation that it is.
Either way, our first strategy is simply to be prepared for ANYTHING during these next two months. I mean, literally anything; any kind of media stunt or extreme manipulations. We already know they have the cash to tie up a near monopoly of the available advertisement space and time during the last few weeks. Most importantly be prepared not to be too surprised or paralyzed into ineffective scrambling for the appropriate responses.

Cade was at first but now he is begging to keep him.
yeah, it got worse this morning with his second chance. We were thinking about keeping him until then.
that is so sad, but I had Boston terrier, when my children were about 11 and 15 and Cosmo was wonderful and yes he would snap and bite, there teeth are so jagged that they make nasty places when they bite. My children were bite several times, but when the grand baby came along she was eighteen months old, she was just sitting playing on the floor and he for no reason bit her, I tried placing him in a new home without children and he grieved and would not eat, so I had to go back and get him and bring him home, so i made the only decision I could make, I had to have him put down, and yes it broke my heart and I still miss him so very much but I just could not let him bite and scar the grand babies

Hey I think seat belts should be on buses and the bus does not move til all are seated and buckled in. Once they are buckeled they could lock and only the driver can unluck them with a button up front.
seat belts are not the answer, when you child came home from the bus that had seat belts, and been beaten or hit by the seat belt buckle, you would love that it would give another reason to say the bus driver let little Billy beat little Johnny with the seat belt buckle, or some child wrap the seat belt strap around another child's neck, no seat belts are not the answer.

i know that you said you don't want bellsouth, but if you just call and tell them you want dsl only , that you don't want the phone service i think you can do this
it is 24.95 a month for their dsl.
just call and talk to them ask questions and get answers, they will assign you a new number, but the new number is for dsl so that they can send your dsl bill
my neighbor has only dsl with bellsouth.

I was going to VOIP to cut off Bellsouth and keep from paying $47 a month for a phone line until I learned that you HAVE to have a phone line in order to have DSL. Guess I'll continue to pay $47 a month!!
my friend has bellsouth dsl and had his phone cut off, he pays the 24.95 a month for dsl, so I called bellsouth and talked to them about dropping my home phone service and keeping my dsl. I and my neighbor had our home phone number moved to our cell phone, then you have to contact bellsouth and get a new number for your dsl service and that is because you have to have a number so that you can be billed. call bellsouth and talk to them, ask questiosns
check it out, you can drop the home phone service and keep your dsl with them. and just use you cell phone
