  1. I am in need of a new antivirus program for our home computers. Ours is just not working.

I want something with all the components (antivirus, spyware, malware, firewall, anti phishing, e-mail security, etc, etc)

What are your recommendations and why?

If you suggest a "free" one, can you tell me why it might be better than one that you pay for?

Thanks for any help you can give. There is a lot of confusing/conflicting information out there, It is difficult to figure out which one is the best.

  2.

I have been doing some research on AT&T U-Verse and was wondering if anyone on here has it.

I am not even sure if it is available in our area. I have a friend that works for them. She has it and loves it. She previously had Directv (what I have now) and she said she likes it a lot better.

  3. I was thinking the same thing. I also remember Glenn Burns throwing it off as 'maybe some flurries'.

Yep, I remember that too! I also remember waking up at 5:00am to thunder and lighting - thunder snow!!! You could not see anything outside because it was snowing so hard!

    Anyone remember that? :yahoo:

  4. OK Einstein.

If you go to bed on SUNDAY and it Ices or snows Sunday night, you will wake up on Christmas Eve.

While the morning of the 24th is still morning, it is referred to (in most parts) as Christmas Eve.

    :D

True! I think most of us would prefer the snow Monday night! :p

  5. Bump...

Thank you Mr. Segars! That was awesome!

My son is at Paulding. He took the information to his Lit teacher last week. They have 10 min or so of free writing at the beginning of class. She gave the kids the option to write one of these letters or their normal free writing. My son gathered all the letters from her classes. We ended up with 95 and delivered them to Taco Mac on Dallas Hwy last Thursday night.

We will be writing more tonight! Please everyone - just 10 minutes of your day! These people risk their life for you each and every day. The least we can do is take just 10 minutes out of our busy schedule and say THANK YOU!

  6. It was done in our community. Last year, Dallas Elementary had a Kaboom playground built :)

So did Hiram. I work for Home Depot and had the opportunity to help with the build for Hiram.

It was done during the week, so the kids got to watch it being built. They were so cute. They brought individual classes out at different times of the day. They would do cheers for us or sing songs. They also made thank you cards which we received at the end of the build.

If you ever get a chance to participate, please do. It is a day you will never forget! Just try not to be put on mulch duty :p
