  1. This happened to me the other day and after much frustration, I just did a restore to the day before and it fixed it. Just go to start, help and support, system restore and pick yesterday - It will reboot and it should be fixed.

  2. I have an 8 month old Lab - and she is the most wonderful dog we have ever had.

I can't let her out of my sight. Period. She will eat and chew anything. When she is loose, I watch her like a hawk and correct her when she begins to chew on anything that she shouldn't. Otherwise, she is in her crate.

I went to Sams Club when we got her and bought a bag of those long white bones - They only cost around $10 - I make sure there are 2-3 of those in any room she is in - She loves them.

She is doing great and it is getting better and better everyday.

  3. i purchased a 2008 ford focus about 3 weeks ago to replace my blazer the gas mileage is

great plus it drives good.. i would not purchase foreign vehicle period! i and hubby work for gm

Did you trade the blazer? I have an expedition that I would like to trade for something more economical but someone told me that I wouldn't get anything for the trade?

  4. I am fairly computer literate but I am stumped and need some help. I have my pictures on my computer as my screensaver and it rolls through them all the time. However, this morning I tried to find those pictures and I can't. I went in to see where it is pointing to pull them to roll on the screen saver and I swear to you, they are not there. Help. Where did they go?

  5. Please try Cover Girl Outlast - It is fantastic. It comes with 2 tubes - one color and one clear. You put the color on, wait 1 minute and then put on the clear. It will stay on all day - no joke - It's like paint. I love it. You can get it at Walmart for around $8.

  6. Just my opinion of course but when I am faced with a decision like this, I think about when I am on my death bed and I ask myself, would I be glad that I stayed at the conference or would I be glad that I went to graduation?

It's a no brainer for me, I would be at that graduation.

But you have to do what you have to do.

That's what makes the world go around.......................

  7. I am 'fairly' computer literate. I have virus protection, spyware/adware protection, etc....... never the less, I have a trojan. I have been able to run some programs and remove alot of it and it is functioning but not well. I went into my registry and found the word 'trojan' in several places and deleted them. However, everytime I re-boot, they come back so somehow I am not getting them off.

    Any suggestions?

  8. My daughter just turned 16 in December and we bought her a 99 4 runner. It is a mechanically safe car - it has a few cosmetic issues but nothing big. She is an excellent student, makes good grades, is in all honors classes and is looking forward to going to college to pursue her degree.

She is very responsible and we have had no problems. It is nice to have someone else to help me with all the running around I have to do.

I guess it just depends on the kid.

  9. I have a 20 week old golden lab. She is sweet but about as hard headed as a rock. I bought a shock collar at Walmart for $100. It has two buttons on the remote - one warning and one shock. It took me 2 days to train her not to run away with it. I would first tell her to stop and when she didn't, I would hit the warning button - it is just a beep - I would tell her to stop again, if she didn't, (which she didn't) I would shock her.

Worked like a charm - Now anything she does that I don't want her to do, I tell her to stop - If she does not, I hit the beep on that collar - she stops before I have to shock her.

I think it is much more humane than getting hit by a car.

  10. We had this same question a few weeks ago when we went to The Atlanta Fish Market which is part of the Buckhead Life Group that also owns Bluepointe. We decided to dress up - church clothes - WE WERE WAY OVERDRESSED. There were people there with jeans.

I would call them and ask.

  11. I guess I'll be the dissenting vote on Dr. Judy's office. He treated my precious boy like he was a piece of meat; no love, no personality, nothing. I also hate waiting out in the office with 20 other animals. When I brought my elderly cat in to see him after she spent a night at the emergency vet, we had to wait an hour in the waiting room. She still had an IV in her little leg and every dog in Paulding County was sniffing at her carrier and scaring her to death. My pets are my babies and I don't like them to be treated like that. Yes, the prices were cheap, but IMO, you get what you pay for. I'll never go back there.

I have been using Dr. Larry Judy for over 30 years - You are the very first person that I have ever heard say anything negative about him.

    He is the BEST.

  12. I have a 98 Ford Expedition with a 5.4L engine - It has 170,000 miles on it. I can't afford a new car so that's not an option. Within the last 6 months upon starting the engine when it is cold I have a lifter clicking. I have owned the car since it was new and the oil has always been kept clean and it is not burning any oil. Do you have any ideas how to fix this? When the engine gets warm, it stops. I really don't want to have the lifters replaced.

    Any advice would be appreicated.
