    It sounds to me like this baby just needs some love -_-

    Lily does the same thing, and I do not have a problem with it at all. I may be that it's wanting more attention from you, not just your yum-yums ;)

     

     

    Its not the food, but truthfully I just dont have the time, the ability etc...to give her what she should REALLY have....she's not mistreated at all, dont get me wrong. She's a good dog and all, I just think that if she was more of the center of attention, she'd be happier. I dont have a camera or nothing to post pics. I apoligize for that. She is one of those uglier than sin but cute as hell kind of dogs...if anyone is interested, drop me a line.

    and she's not wolfing HER food, she'll gawk at YOURS......I honestly think that if someone who knew more about dogs that are from abusive enviroments and how to deal with them had some time with her, she'd be perfect. I dont have the ability, or the time to do all that. I've had dogs since I was a kid and I LOVE animals, I wouldnt even be opposed to getting another dog, but I think that animals are alot like people.

    First, let me say thank you for taking these two abandoned dogs in. If I may, I'd like to ask a few questions.

     

    If she's potty trained, then what specifically is she doing that makes her an issue in the house? Is she destructive? Why is wolfing her food bad? Although it might offend our sensibilities, but some dogs just eat that way. What efforts have you made to get her to trust you?

     

    Just curious ;)

     

     

    She's just one of those dogs that is literally under you at every second. She doesnt mean any harm or anything by it, I know. She's peed the carpet a couple of times, but I think it was just because noone was here to take her out. I dont know what kind of backround she comes from exactly, but after spending the last year or so with her, its obvious that its just the way she is....Like I said, she is a really nice dog, but I just feel like she'd be better and maybe come out a little bit more in a setting where she could get the attention she really needs....I really cant think of a bad thing to say about her other than I just think that she cant get the kind of attention she needs here. She's a scavenger kind of dog and I would never let her go to the shelter or anything. She's chipped and all, and ALL of her vet stuff was updated a couple of months ago, and has all her stuff that dogs get.

    About a year ago, a couple of dogs were dumped in our front yard by the people who owned them (we tracked the chip) and we decided to add them to our family, but one particular is just posing a problem. Not in a bad way, she's a sweet dog, but whoever had her last was HORRIBLY abusive to her. She was dropped off with a boxer and we think she was used for training in dogfighting or something of the like. Anyways, she is really sweet and great with kids, but her past shows through alot in the sense that she cowers alot, but if you pet her, you will not get her to leave you alone and she gawks food like a vulture. She's really past the point of training her to stop these things and she is the ugliest dog I've ever seen. She's a mutt and definately looks like the kind of thin, quick dog that you see in disney movies and stuff, she looks like a deer almost. We just cant really take care of her, she's real high strung and I just think that maybe she'd do better with an older couple perhaps or one of those places that visit kids in the hospital or something. She loves attention, but to me its just a little too much.....I really do like this dog, but she's just becoming a real big issue in the house. She's potty trained and all. She'd be the perfect little dog for the right person, but I'd rather keep her and deal with her then let someone take her who didnt have certain things...(Fence, food, etc.) I dont have a pic or a camera, but I really hope that wont change anyones take on it, she's a great dog. She's just too skiddish.

    You know what I'd do? If I had the funds? I'd invest money into an old church or something nad renovate it into a metal venue. Music is healing to almost everyone and alot of kids get into metal and music that is considered "Evil" by people who know nothing about it. I think alot of times that if there was a good venue that actually had good acoustics in it, then more bands would want to play there, and I would have the oppurtunity to book local bands based on talent rather than income. Plus, I would be able to run a small time metal label with the same values. I could cut breaks on local bands by having them give free music classes for the youth....it may sound stupid, but its my life goal. I love Music, and metal particularly. Music like that speaks to alot of youth who see beauty where others might not, and it would go alot farther if people gave it the same consideration they do for Celine Dion or Nsync..... I know that I'm doing decent now, and I make a decent living doing what I love and when music was the only thing I could relate to, it was bands like Tool and Deicide who made me feel like it was okay to be different........

    My youngest LOVES Dick Blick's. He was so upset when they moved to timbucktoo. He's on their mailing list and just jumps for joy when he gets a discount coupon. When we go, it's a big purchase day because I'm not going back anytime soon.

     

     

    I KNOW! I hate that garbage. That one near Towne center had been there for years. The roswell one is pretty nice tho, I hate that its so damn far.

    Pirate printing can do it maybe, but check out Phase 3 Media. My wife works there and they do all my art prints. If you cant get a magnet, they can do you a really good quality sign. Maybe even like a vynil one.
