    Well, don't remove it on my behalf....it didn't bother me as much as your age and posting that ;) But, then again, alot has changed since I was "young" :closedeyes:

     

     

    I was looking to see if anyone else let the kids stay home when i saw it. Good girl, honor roll, lost her mind. What i think maybe funny in a joke or cartoon, is not appropriate everywhere. We just had that discussion

    My Granma “Mother” is with me every day, she always was. She is in the things I say to my friends when they need a shoulder, she is in the stories I tell my children who never knew her. When I speak of her even now, and I ask a question I know her answer. You say you made her chuckle before as she got off the phone, you make her happy, remember that. She is your miracle in this life and after. As is my little brother. I still feel them every day. I love talking about them, they are alive to me because it will a take a lifetime to convey them to others. Rest, reflect and don’t worry yourself beyond what you can do.

    My 14 year olds just had her first mixed party. It was here at the house. Since she and her friends liked Japanese anime I made rice, egg rolls and got sushi. Some of them had never tried some of the foods before, and we laid out chop sticks and fortune cookies. She and I spent time looking for Asian designs to decorate with and pulled it off with little expense. We left them alone for 2 hours, with my 16 in charge in his room, and with permission. They played video games and watched some of their favorite anime. I always set the theme by the gifts or favorite gift

     

    My 16 year old had an Xbox party with three other friends, while not original it lasted two days and with all boys, we felt we could leave them alone longer, so we spent the whole night out and they were still awake when we got home taking sleep breaks. No risky business if the right bunch is together.

    I was looking to donate my car at one time, and I looked into this. Not this particular ad, but seeing how it worked. The maximum deduction thanks to the intricacies of vehicle gift guidelines. There is a 500 dollar threshold. You need to include a written appraisal to attach, also the appropriate tax forms. The charity has to give you something in 30 stating what they sold it for or how they are using it. You have to know what your responsibilities are and check out the charities.
