  1. Just wanted to say thank you very much to Jeff & Dianne of Quality Tire. If not for them we would not have had a Christmas dinner. They went to the store and bought us everything needed for a fulfilling dinner and even desert. Thank you so much from our family to yours and Happy Birthday Danny Hammett. Brenda

  2. Wow....the story in the paper this past week was overlooked a few times. I sat in my room and kept going thru it and I saw your story. It honestly dropped me to my knees and I had a really good cry as well. Danny and I have got to get to one of these meetings at the hospital. He has become too many of the dangers, risks, etc you have mentioned. He has to be hosp. at least once a year and this last time his oxygen got down sooooo low that I know some of the damages you spoke of have been done. He's a walking atlas and he couldn't remember how to get to the corner store. He's gaining weight, losing memories, etc. They want him to have the surgery done asap. He hasnt worked in a month or so. It's so sad. Please give Danny a call and invite him for tomorrow. His # is on my signature. I wish I had the strength that you do and you use it so wisely. Thank you for all you do and continue to do. Your hubby smiles down on you from Heaven.

  3. What a great story and a good feeling it must have given you. I loaned someone Danny's wheel chair from here earlier today. I'm not a real sociable person but when that lady hugged my neck I felt that good feeling. It's nice to know there are a few good people left.

  4. I was looking for a good casserole .. thanks

Try this. Boil about 4 breasts. 2 cans of crescent rolls. Pull chicken apart. Unfold them {flat} and fill with chicken. Roll them up and set in baking dish. 1 or {2 cans creamier} of cream of ch. soup. Mix with about a cup of milk and stir well. Pour over the cresnt rolls. Then put 1 pack. of shredded cheses on top. Bake for about 30 min. at 350. Simple and tastes great. Just be careful not to over-cook or it will be dried out.

  5. I'm not having a funeral, I'm having a life celebration. It will have a slide show with my favorite songs. It will be catered with my favorite foods. There will be a balloon release. There will be dancing, people sharing stories and laughter. There might be a few tears, but I hope everyone leaves smiling and remembering the good times we shared.

When I first glanced at your list {before reading} I was like whooaa. Just want to add after reading it all, I was touched/inspired....life celebration. I saw awhile back about that you can have your cremation.....have them going up w/fireworks out over the ocean. I thought "wow" then, but it might actually be {loss of a word here} touching/romantic {to me} for hubby and I to wait o on the other and do that in the end. Before this I never even considered cremation.

P.S. There will be lots of tears, somehow those can't be stopped......smile.

  6. I was listing to a song and it inspired this post.

How can I get the songs here from my ripped music or Limewire? Does anyone know?

1} Sailing on the Ships of Heaven/Blackhawk...told my oldest son this years ago, so I'll keep that one intact.

I have found one recently that I don't think many know, seems a little hard to find, will try later to find. I would for any/all to hear. To me it will be as good/or more. It will be worth the time just to hear it.

    2} Lead me Home/Jamey Johnson

With no extra time to search now, at least here are the lyrics. Still doesn't hold a candle to hearing the music with the lyrics.

    Artist: Johnson Jamey

    Song: Lead Me Home

    Album: The Dollar

I have seen my last tomorrow,

I am holding my last breath,

    Goodbye, sweet world of sorrow,

My new life, begins with death.

I am standing on the mountain,

I can hear the angels songs,

    I am reaching over Jordon,

Take my hand, Lord lead me home.

All my burdens, are behind me,

I have prayed, my final pray,

Don't you cry, over my body,

Cause that ain't me, lying there.

No, I am standing on the mountain,

I can hear the angels songs,

    I am reaching over Jordon,

Take my hand, Lord lead me home.

I am standing (Lord, I am standing) on the mountain ( on the mountain ),

I can hear ( I can hear the angels songs ) the angels songs,

I am reaching over Jordon, ( over Jordon )

Take my hand, Lord lead me home.

Take my hand, Lord lead me home.

  8. ....old appliances, wheels, etc. We will p/u old unwanted items which is a free service with the intent to help a person and to clean up the community. But we will also pay you top dollar for your junk cars. We have been a paid commerce member here from the start of joining although I admit I have trouble with consistency during such trying days in our lives. But I can assure that I wouldn't take knowledge I learned from anothers "business" and then try to take advantage of that and make it MY business. Especially if they were my "friend and or neighbor. Honesty and loyalty, especially to a "friend" can go a very long way. Give us a call today for your removals and get paid for your junk autos. Have a great day and give Danny a call today at 678-313-6327. Thanks. Brenda.

  9. My mom bought a lot of Budweiser Steins at an auction one time for $20 (there were about 5 in the lot). And later looked one of them up and found it to be worth $1500. Haven't found the others yet...but I'd say she got a deal!! lol. Haven't decided what she's going to do with them yet, but more than likely keep them for now!

The research on things can go on forever ya know? I guess it's one of those diamonds in the"ruff" I always speak of. And this was my 1st yard sale. Also adding she's a school teacher which is added respect.

  10. I once sold a very valuable vase at a yard sale for I think $5  Once I realized my mistake, I soaked it up as a lesson learned.

Most likely I wouldn't get that much for it, but I think it would be great to show some gratitude. I've e-bayed but only on the buying side......so I guess we'll see.

  11. ......if you went to a yard sale, met a very nice lady, spotted something....limited ed. etc etc. I knew even if it wasn't worth a dime it was worth keeping. She asked $5.00 for it, I paid her and went on my way. At home I searched and researched and finally found the exact match of it for the buy it now price only of nearly $500.00?

  12. You are the one who can do yo' thang with Johnny Cash playing aren't ya? Cazmera is up. Brb.

Crappy pic. The phone will show better detail, but now the shoulder and the phone are gone....lol.
