Hubert was a cousin of my daddy's. I had at one time all his writings that he started giving me when I a kid back in the mid 70's, but they mysteriously disappeared. Would love to still have them. He was a great man that if you ever needed to know anything he knew it and loved to share his knowledge with you.

My niece April Atcheson Ruff at Salon Rouge, Hiram, GA. She is very good.

FYI: No one in the community really wanted Burnt Hickory Estates sub-division back years ago. But it happens. Just like the county voted down the airport and we still got it. I don't like pulling out from Williams Rd nor do I like all the people that pull out in front of me from there. I wished they would put the DG at the old Womack place (Narroway/61/School Rd)

thanks for these pictures. these like the ones on Dabbs brings back memories. This used to be the norm back when I was a kid. also the ones of the old McMilliam Bridge on Harmony Grove. I remember it being so flooded that it would cover the sub-division completly. thanks for sharing, save me a trip.

Your Mom was a lovely lady. She will be missed. I met her at her Grandson's pre-school. God Bless.

I just saw Shane's name on Benson's this morning. I was hoping it was someone else. This is so sad. Its been years since I last saw Shane but he was a good friend and co-worker. He was a joy to know and to be around, I had often thought about him over the years. My prayers go out to his family.

Below is a link to a dedication made to Coach a while back for what a great man, father, teacher, coach and friend to Paulding. I've known him since a young child, and had him for teacher in PC Jr High and PCHS. He was one of a kind. He truly cared for his students and was a dedicated educator. He will be missed. http://www.legis.state.ga.us/legis/1997_98...lltext/sr26.htm

Paulding County has lost a good man. He was always around to help out with any children charities. The wrestling community has lost a great entertainer. I voted for him this summer, I thought he'ld made a great commissioner. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will be missed.
