  1. So are they also going to arrest the girl? Or is it ok for a 15 year old to send someone a picture of her fun bags but not ok for the guy to reply in kind with his bag?

The guy was stupid but last time I checked stupidity was not a crime. There is always two sides to every story but obviously she sent him something that more then likely started the whole thing.

  2. Pot meet kettle. :ninja:

    :runsaway:

So says the #1 for the day so far. :clapping: :good:

    ETA:

I know, that is probably left over from yesterday since this is only like my 4th worthless post of the day. But it is still early.

  3. This is one of those moments when I have to say something.

The SO is not releasing details for a reason. If anyone does have details I would advise you to contact the SO NOT post them on Pcom or even PM Pubby with them. It is not Pcom nor Pubbys job to investigate crimes in Paulding County nor do we need to start a bunch of rumors that could affect the live of a possible innocent person.

Let the SO do their job. If the SO wants more details released they will release more details.

Personally unless the SO was asking for pcom/Pubby to find out more details I really do not see where this sort of incident needed to be posted at this point in the investigation.

  4. This speaks volumes. GET OVER IT. You want justice, there it is. A "jury" found them not guilty. Not a Internal affairs investigation or civilian review board, but a JURY.

Actually it was the judge. They did not have a jury because they figured pre-trial publicity would taint it.

And you have to admit, one guy reloaded. That is sort of strange.

But I think they did what they felt they had to do in the situation. Hard to arm chair quarterback something that most people never have to experience.

Other then a little excessive on the shooting I think they should be cleared.

  5. People!

Why do we expect our current Presidential leadership to do anything in regard to the price of petroleum? Don't forget, both the President and Vice-President are long time "Oil Men". Don't think for a moment that the interest of the general public will come before the oil company profit.

    RRRRRIIIIGGGGGHHHHHHHTTTTTTTT

Or maybe this is the reason.

    1. Refusing to drill in ANWR for more oil in the very portion of ANWR that was set aside for the purpose of drilling for more oil.

    2. Refuse to tap the known reserves of oil and natural gas off the West coast of Florida because, after all, we certainly don't want tourists in Florida to catch sight of a drilling rig 25 miles off shore now do we?

    3. Refuse to develop ways to use the oil shale from the Western United States.

    4. Refuse to develop coal gasification techniques.

    5. Refuse to build any more refineries in the United States.

    6. Listen to the anti-nuke moonbats and continue to delay building some nuclear power plants.

Of course the Democrats have a plan for when they took over Congress. But of course the time is not right yet to reveal that plan. Oh wait Nancy told us the other day, stop filling the strategic reserves.

In a press release dated April 24, 2006, Pelosi said, “Democrats have a commonsense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices by cracking down on price gouging, rolling back the billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and royalty relief given to big oil and gas companies, and increasing production of alternative fuels.” The letter cited policies put in place during the GOP control of Congress that the Speaker claimed had raised prices on American consumers to benefit oil companies.

  6. Good News, the Democrats have a plan.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters she was calling on President George W. Bush to work with Democrats to find a way to "temporarily suspend" oil deliveries to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

Pelosi said suspending deliveries would save drivers 5 cents to 24 cents per gallon at the pump

Thanks Nancy, hope we are in the 24 cents location.

  7. Are you serious? If so, yes, he died several years ago. Best company spokesman ever.

Semi serious JuneBug. Guess I just needed reminding.

I found out a few weeks ago that Moses, I mean, Charlton Heston was dead. A co-worker felt it important to remind me that Elvis and John Wayne were also dead. Just in case I did not know that. :pardon:

  8. Oh no!! This cannot be! Higher prices??

A customer at Racetrack informed my hubby that in two hours the gas prices were going to go down! That right...go down. He said it could be one or two dollars.

How disappointing it is to find that today the prices are still going up.  :cray:

    God bless,

    Denise

They are suppose to go down. Queen Peloski said so back in 2006.

Still waiting Nancy. <insert impatient tapping foot icon here>

  9. I wonder how many people know that Ethanol is a lousy fuel?

It was never about it being a good fuel or a cheaper fuel. It was ALL about the environment.

HUGE amounts of OUR money is going to subsidize corn growers, meanwhile to cost of food is skyrocketing. Problem is the Government is not smart enough to see the connection.

After all we must save the environment. Several years from now it will not matter because we will not be able to drive anyway and will barely be able to afford food. As much as I hate to admit it maybe Ted Turner is right, we will all be cannibalize in 40 years.
