  1. Because in most cases, it is the man who left. Very rarely will you find a woman wanting to give up her kids. Women are made up differently than men and will do most anything for their kids. Men typically won't go that same distance. I've seen a lot of men leave their families. When a women leaves her kids to her ex you have to wonder what's wrong with her.

Great, I'm one of those "rare" cases. My ex WIFE is the one who left and I have the kids. She quit her job while the divorce was pending and it was determined that child support would be based on her previous job quoting the judgement "she has the ability to earn set amount." It's not a whole lot but at least the kids and I get something.

  2. Chicago ( before Peter Cetera ) and The Eagles when I was 8 years old.

I'm confused by this one because Cetera was one of the original members of Chicago. He was with them in 1966 when they were called The Big Thing and then in 1967 when they became Chicago Transit Authority.

  3. Mine was AC/DC "For those about to rock" tour.

I took my wife to her first concert a few years later.....AC/DC

I took my then 12 year old son to his first concert many years later.....AC/DC

and if they come back one more time, my daughter's first concert will be.....AC/DC

Kind of a family tradition I guess....break'em in right!!

I saw AC/DC back in 1983 for their "Flick of the Switch" tour. They put on a great show. Would have loved to seen them with Bon Scott.

  4. My first concerts were Starbuck and Neil Sedaka. I was probably 10 or 11 and saw them at Six Flags over Texas with my parents. So to me this doesn't really count.

My first "real" concert was in 1980, I was 13 and went with my brother to Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas to see the greatness which was Queen. Saw them again in 1982 with Billy Squier opening up. I've been to numerous concerts over the years but no one comes close to putting on a show like Queen.

I'll be at Bon Jovi tonight. Not a big fan but should be entertaining.

  5. A kidergarten graduation is not a reason to throw a job away. If this job caused her to miss several/most of her child's events then it may be worth a look at a career change but like she said, the only important opinion is her son's. I'm sure he knows that his mother loves him and would be there for him if she could. I'm a single father raising two sons and I'm there for almost all their events but on the rare occasion that I cannot make it, I make them fully aware of the situation and they understand.

  6. We should all be seriously ticked about the oil prices. The oil companies have been gouging us so long that we get so excited when the price dips to $2.60 a gallon when in all reality even at that price it is still about $1.50 too high. When I moved to Georgia in 2002, unleaded was $.87 a gallon. Nothing has changed since then except the oil companies found out they could do this and get away with it.

  7. I got to watch my two teenage boys go about getting their girlfriends Valentine Day goodies. It was kind of nice not to have to expend any energies toward that kind of stuff this year. Just get to sit back and watch everybody else go about their business.

  8. I love music (listening not playing). Most all genres except for Rap and Opera. My CD collection stands at 851 and my album collection at over 350. I'm going to see one of my fellow Texans, Delbert McClinton, perform on 29Feb08 at the Variety Playhouse. Completely pumped about that.

I love sports. I have kept up with Texas High School football for 32 years now, since I was 8 years old and I have kept up with Georgia football since coming to Georgia in 2002. I have every edition of Texas Football Magazine dating back to 1970. It comes out once a year and is a must have for all fans of Texas football, from high school to the Pros. My favorite sports teams are the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and the New Mexico State Aggies. I enjoy travelling with my sons to watch MLB baseball games around the country as well as taking in New Mexico State games.

I enjoy my kids' activities including my 16 year old son's band, ToRTuS and watching my 13 year old son play baseball.

I also enjoy all my church related activities.
