We can't begin to imagine what this family is going through and as youth and children ministers it breaks our heart to see something like this happen. [Tithing]

Tithing....in the true since of the word is a wonderful thing, but I have found that most churches now are "all about the money". I have had the opportunity to visit several churches in Paulding County and have found them to be the same as the rest. One church I visited, the paster even devoted a hole sunday morning service to giving money. I found on church that you could even tith on-line with your credit card. This is one of many reasons I have stopped attending church

My church doesn't pass an offering plate! There is a small wooden church next to the door with a slit cut out in the top and you can drop your tithes and offerings in there.

 

In fact, I only recall our Pastor preaching on tithes 1 time.
