    I am going to the dentist on Thursday to start the process of getting dentures. I don't have the costs of what dentures will cost through our dentist and won't until xrays are done but know it will be expensive. I was wondering if anyone has used any of the denture clinics that are around? I know that this is a personnel question so please message me if you don't want to share with everyone. I am trying to collect as much info as I can. I appreciate any info. Thank you.

    I have worked with both men and women, mostly women throughout my life. I have been at my current job for almost three years and I work with all men. I have to say men are really no different than women although women tend to talk more. I would have never believed it, but I don't see much difference. They backstab and talk about the other guys and it is not just one of them it is all of them.

    A stray dog found his way to our house yesterday. I have posted an ad here and on craigslist. I also went to animal control today and filled out a found form, if the owner shows up there or contacts them they have all my contact info. We decided to bring him home, he might like it better here then in a kennel. I do hope to find his owners. He looks very well cared for. We live off of Mustang Dr/61 across the street from White Oak Park. If you or someone you know is missing a dog please pm me. Thanks

    I never said that because they did not speak English meant that they were illegal. Reread MY post.

     

    The immigrants ARE learning the language. It just takes time. On average it takes about 7 years of regular study to become literate. I don't mean conversational, but actually literate in English.

     

    In fact, I know that many of the free English classes offered by many churches and local municipalities have waiting lists. I know that there are many paid classes that have waiting lists as well.

     

    One of the problems is that many people here forget....not English speaking does NOT mean illegal. I am not saying YOU said that! :)

    Earlier I was on Stoker Rd pulled over to the side of the road because I was returning an important phone call, I had my flashers on. A young man in his Jeep Cherokee stopped and asked if I was having any problems. I was truly amazed that this young man cared enough to stop and ask. His jeep had a dent I believe in the front and it was a wine color. If this is your son, you did a great job of raising him and should be proud.
