All of you people complaining about bringing the child out in the heat and whatnot are full of it. The child was never brought out. She was never there.

For a couple of months now, I've seen a few people raising money for a sick little girl on the weekends, usually between noon and 5pm at the 92/120 intersection. A few weeks ago, I witnessed what I can only assume to be the father of the girl being surrounded by sheriff's deputies and questioned. I was only stopped at the intersection for a minute or two, but it appeared that the father was quite angry. I haven't seen the people since. Does anyone know what occurred here? Thanks.

Why not both? You do know what affable means, right?

In addition to being nice pleasant, Stout is unlike Sibley in many ways. For one, Stout--unlike Sibley--doesn't think that people who carry firearms for self-defense in "public venues" (Sibley's words) are irresponsible. Furthermore, he doesn't liken us to meth dealers (again, Sibley's own words). I will be immensely disgusted if Sibley wins.

So you think that if they were legally allowed to carry...then they'd murder you? That seems like a huge logical jump. Sure does! Except for many states, including our own, such permits/licenses also enable one to OPEN carry, not just concealed, which is what I often do.

Nitpick: There is no "registration" in Texas, nor virtually anywhere in America.

Why does the thought of a law-abiding person carrying a firearm to protect themselves from harm scare you? Does it not scare you that we currently outlaw defending yourself on college campuses?
