I didn't hear the original call come in, but I did hear one of the dispatchers say that one of the injured said that the wind "blew him off course" so it must have been a planned event.

Just got this from Nixle
AVOID Hunter Rd near Hwy. 92 S due to traffic collision.
The Paulding County Sheriff's Office advises you to AVOID Hunter Rd due to current traffic congestion.
The traffic collision near Hwy. 92 S (Hiram Douglasville Hwy) may cause delays.

hubby is in traffic too. he asked me to ask if anyone knows if it will be opened back up soon???
Sorry, haven't heard any other mention of this one.
-
I don't know the cause, but I did hear them say (about 10 minutes ago) that Buchanan Highway was shut down between Baggett Circle and Quarry Drive.
-
That's crazy that they didn't give you the option of the passes. I wouldn't have stayed when we went if I had to buy the tickets for every ride. They were running a special that day so the all day passes were $10, little did we know that was because they didn't have half the rides running.
-
American Adventures no longer has an admission charge. You simply pay for the attractions you want. Most Fun Forest rides require 4 to 8 tickets.
*Some attractions are not yet available. Please check back for announcements!

It is definitely more geared for a boy. I don't have a picture and it's not at my house (the sale is at my Mom's home), but it's probably not what you're looking for...dark wood and it's about 30 years old.

We're having one in Austell if anyone is going that direction. Lots of toddler boy clothing (2T and 3T - summer and winter), race car beds, washer and dryer, gas stove, twin bedroom set, desk, toys and books galore.
It is on Durrell Street, Austell, GA 30106, off of Hurt Road (between Floyd Rd. and Hicks Rd.)

I always had good results with Target and Publix brand.

I just got back from there a couple of weeks ago for a wedding. We found two nice little pubs that we just loved.
Molly MacPherson's (excellent food and small cozy atmosphere)

Kevin Barry's (larger party setting, overlooks River Street, live traditional music on the weekends)

We drove by the area at about 7:30 that morning and if the police hadn't been down by the accident we never would have seen the car that wrecked. I can understand why nobody saw the wreckage until daylight if there were no witnesses at the time of the accident.
I just read the other topic relating to this accident... our thoughts are with the family and friends of the driver, we are very sorry for your loss.

That's BADASS!!!! That's exactly what I saw!
Thanks! I didn't think I was going to be able to get anything since I'm not used to fooling with the manual settings.

Here are some I got tonight

Bed, Bath and Beyond had Bare Minerals in stock the last time I was there. It was the one at Arbor Place.

Tidwell runs between 92 and Brownsville, if coming from Nebo you would go towards Douglasville on 92 and Tidwell would be on your left and Riverwalk is the first subdivision on the left.

Congrats! We have identical twin boys, they're 3. When we went in for the ultrasound my husband saw that there were two before the technician, it was definately a shock. They are so much fun, most of the time
-
Awesome, and especially for your first attempt, for sure
And thanks, yourself.
I was just mumbling about the d100 because I've been secretly wanting to upgrade it for awhile now...
even though it still takes good pictures whenever I let it. Looking at the shot info on your pics shows you
at ISO 80 on some of those shots. That was really what got me mumbling. Been a lot of breakthroughs since 2002
Oh, I forgot that I was switching back and forth between my manual settings and the camera's fireworks mode...that's probably where the lower ISO came in at.
-
I set ISO at 100 per suggestions I found online, these are my first fireworks photos with my new camera so it was a learning experience. I saw your pictures from the other thread and they're great!Excellent shots!(Mumbles to himself... @$#% outdated DS100, won't go below ISO 200... mumble... full of stuck pixels... gotta upgrade soon... mumble...)
ThanksExcellent! -
I took these from our front yard. I thought the show was great, but that's mostly because we didn't have to leave home to see them

Does anyone know of a place to get a 4 year old boy started in karate? Is 4 years old to young for that? What about baseball? I don't want it to be competitive but I am not familiar AT ALL with anything. I need some help.
Paulding Parks and Rec offer Toddler Karate. Here's the info from their program. I plan on enrolling mine once they are old enough, but that's a couple of months away so I don't have any personal experience with the program.

You have girls or boys? How old are they? Maybe we can let them play (and train ) "togheter" one day
Identical Boys...29 months. How old are yours? You have two girls right? I think that I read that at some point.
