Robert Steven McDaniel BM 45 YOA

Robert Steven McDaniel, 45, is being held on charges of felony murder in the nearly noon time shooting of a woman at a salon in Crossroads.

McDaniel was taken into custody earlier today after allegedly shooting a female subject multiple times inside Julia’s Salon in the “Crossroads Community” of northern Paulding County. McDaniel was taken into custody by Paulding County Deputies, Paulding County Marshal’s Bureau Officers, and Cobb County Deputies who were all eating lunch in the area. McDaniel was compliant and was taken into custody without incident. McDaniel was formally charged with Murder (F) and is currently being housed in the Paulding County Detention Center with no bond.

The identity of the victim has not been released yet because the victim’s family lives out of the country and they are having trouble notifying the family.
