Clark Funeral Home Posted February 6, 2007 Report Share Posted February 6, 2007 (edited) Clarence Leon “Papa” Allen, age 78, of Dallas, GA passed away on Monday, February 5, 2007. He was born on March 1, 1928 to the late William Marvin and Jessie Lee Allen. He was retired from Yellow Freight Trucking after 35 years of employment. He was an ordained minister for over 35 years and was a member of Full Life Christian Ministries of Douglasville, Georgia. Surviving are his wife, Lois “Granny” Allen of Dallas, Georgia; his sons, Clarence Irvin Allen of Kennesaw, Georgia and James Wendell Allen of Dallas, Georgia; his daughters, Teresa Lee Harper of Dallas, Georgia and June Hightower of Lithia Springs, Georgia; his brother, George Allen of Belfrey, Kentucky; his sisters, Mildred Fountain of Winder, Georgia and Lila Joiner of Smyrna, Georgia, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, Georgia with Rev. Johnny Hightower officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens located in Hiram, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
