redheadedstepchild Posted December 15, 2006 Report Share Posted December 15, 2006 My husband just informed me that our neighbor Mr. Givens passed away yesterday. I am terribly upset. He was one of the kindest people I have ever met. Anytime he would see my son he would give him 5 dollars for his piggy bank, or if it was hot outside he would give him a popcicle. He treated my boy like he did his own grandkids. He will be missed. Mr. Givens had Diabetes that had gotten very bad. He went to dialaysis yesterday, fell asleep and never woke up. I am glad that he went peacefully but he is leaving behind many people who love him and will miss him. This will be one very sad Christmas! Link to post Share on other sites

buddy Posted December 16, 2006 Report Share Posted December 16, 2006 There is obviously a void left in the lives of all who knew this man, What a great testament about how you choose to live your life and the way you choose to treat others, What a blessing to have in your life, and now a blessing to those in heaven.
