McKinzie

Mr. Clyde “Mac” McKinzie, age 65, of Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2004. He was born on May 29, 1939 in Sturgis, MS to the late Buster and Ruby McKinzie. He owned McKinzie Trucking and Grading Co. and was retired from the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Sammi McSwain McKinzie; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Christie McKinzie of Dallas; a daughter, Tammy McKinzie of Dallas; a brother and sister-in-law, Dwayne and Alice McKinzie of Sturgis, MS; a sister, Martha Lindsey of Sturgis, MS; grandchildren, Tori, Lexi and Cody Ryan McKinzie; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Reverend Terry Norman officiating. The interment will follow in Sweetwater Memorial Park with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
