Clackum

Mr. Edward Speer Clackum, age 62, of Hiram, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2006. He was born on June 17, 1943 in Cobb Co. to the late Deward and Mary Clackum. He was a retired supervisor with Arco Metals. Mr. Clackum was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Clackum.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Velma Clackum; his daughters and son-in-law, Missy Tidwell of Dallas and Starli and Sean Spain of Dallas; brothers and sister-in-law, Gene Clackum of Acworth and Billy and Beverly Clackum of Henderson, Nevada; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Anderson and her husband, Rufus of Dahlonega, GA and Margie and Gary Priest of Elijay, GA; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Reverend Darin Cochran officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens with Sean Spain, Randy Tidwell, David Howard, Steve Brown, Derek Howard and Harry McGarvey serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
