Croker

Mr. Charles Michael Croker, age 68, of Rockmart, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2006. He was born on February 26, 1937 in Hiram to the late Charles Samuel and Floyd Shipp Croker. He was an Army veteran and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mr. Croker was a member of Masonic Lodge #139 in Hiram. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie L. Tucker Croker.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Charles (Joe) and Misty L. Croker of Rockmart; daughters and son-in-law, Shelby Jean Fisher of Rockmart, Roxy Ann and Ronnie Head of Dallas and Rita Fisher of Hiram; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas E. and Barbara Jean Croker of Dallas; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathleen Fannin of Hiram and Hazel and Keith Clonts of Columbia, S.C.; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Reverend Guy Foster and Reverend Joe Maxwell officiating. The interment will follow in Charlie Croker Memorial Cemetery with Donald Whitman, Devon Whitman, Kevin Fisher, Justin Lester, Jeff Croker and Phil Thomas serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
