Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday at Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Hiram with Bro. Donnie Williams officiating and burial in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. McBurnett was a Retired Captain with Paulding County Sheriff Department, born in Cedartown, GA to the late Henry and Maddie McBurnett, Korean War Veteran U S Air Force, member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Hiram where he was a former Sunday School Teacher and Deacon, member of Bartlett Masonic Lodge # 139, Owner of McBurnett Amoco Station in Hiram for 23 years. Survivors include son, Lance D. McBurnett of Dallas; sisters and brother-in-laws, Barbra and Leonard Baines of Rockmart; Eva and Charles Ross of Burlington, NC; Jewell and Billy Davis of Crosshill, SC; grandson, Matthew McBurnett.
