Clark Funeral Home Posted February 11, 2018 Report Share Posted February 11, 2018 Harry Edward Fowler, age 72 of Dallas, GA passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 10, 2018. He was born on October 17, 1945, in Atlanta, GA, and graduated from Dallas High School, Class of 1963, then attended Nashville Auto-Diesel College. He retired from Sears Roebuck and Company after more than 30 years of service and was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church. Harry will always be remembered for his love of family, camping, socializing, sleeping in his recliner and talking on the phone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward R. and Mae Bell Fowler; brother and sister-in-law, J.W. and Frances Fowler; brothers, Dwight Fowler, Alton Fowler and Aubrey Fowler and brother-in-law, Doyle Vaughn. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 52 years, Sandra Vise Fowler, of Dallas, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Stacy Cash, Wendy and Creig Rainwater, and Nikki Brown all of Dallas, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nell Vaughn of Dallas, GA, Myrland and Don Hughes of Dallas, GA and Dell and Ed Standridge of Cumming, GA; sisters-in-law, Gloria Fowler of Dallas, GA, Gail Fowler of Rockmart, GA and Ronda Fowler of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Alex Rainwater, Nicholas Rainwater, Levi Cash, Jessica Dempsey, Logan Rainwater, Kinsey Cash, Ragan Rainwater, Cassidy Brown and Carson Brown; great grandchildren, Brayden Deupree, Presley Cash, Declan and Mason Rainwater. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, February 13, 2018 between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home. He helped us out in our business when we got swamped with too many service calls and I admired his work ethic and fair business practices. A good, honest man. Sincere condolences to his family.
