Clark Funeral Home Posted July 20, 2017 Report Share Posted July 20, 2017 David Irwin, age 69, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017. He was born on November 14, 1947, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Milton Calhoun & Sara Frances Irwin. Mr. Irwin worked over 19 years for Profit Master Display and a member for over 20 years at West Ridge Church. He was a United States Marine Corp Veteran, worked in Praise Land with West Ridge for over 20 years, always serving. David was a devoted husband, father, and great friend. Survivors include wife of 23 years, Diane Irwin of Hiram, GA; sons, David Allen & Kelley Irwin, JR of Canton, GA, and Matthew & Heather Irwin of Jefferson, GA; daughters, Stephanie & Buddy Walters of Dallas, GA, and Michelle & Chris Jackson of Kennesaw, GA; brother, Milton Irwin of Mableton, GA; sister, Wanda & Terry Byess of Mableton, GA; grandchildren, Autumn Walters, Sierra Irwin, Tatumn Walters, Tyler Irwin, Ethan Irwin, Mason Irwin, McKenna Walters, a Shealynn Boyer, Christian Jackson and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 2 PM, from West Ridge Church, with Reverend Paul Richardson and Reverend Brain Bloye officiating. The family will receive friends at West Ridge Church on Friday, July 21, 2017, from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to West Ridge Church at 3522 Hiram Acworth Hwy, Dallas, GA, in David Irwin’s memory. Link to post Share on other sites

Always in the back helping others and never in the front taking recognition for what he had done. Possibly 1,000's were touched by Dave but only a few knew what all he did.
