Clark Funeral Home Posted March 23, 2017 Report Share Posted March 23, 2017 (edited) Jean Lassiter, age 86, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. She was born on April 23, 1930, in Carl, GA, to the late Edgar Morgan & Mattie Mae Etheridge, and was preceded in death by her husband, William Lassiter, JR; daughters, Wanda Leigh Lassiter and Nancy Lynn Pigott; and son-in law, Maxcie P. Collins, SR. Mrs. Lassiter was a member of First Methodist Church in Dallas and enjoyed volunteering at the church. Survivors include daughter, Donna Jean Collins of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Michelle Landry & David Coleman, Charissa & Christopher Mayeaux, Maxcie & Beth Collins, JR, Rebecca Jean & Lafe Miller, Stephen & Katie Collins and Robert & Lori Pigott; great-grandchildren, Michael Collis, Donna Marie Mayeaux, Zakkary Mayeaux, Victoria Wilson and Tyler Wilson; great-great-grandchild, Alayna Ducote. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Pavlovsky, Mr. Ed McGrory, and Pastor Jeff Byrd officiating. Interment will follow on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 2 PM, in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 24, 2017, from 5 PM until 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Active Heroes, 5809 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40291, in Mrs. Lassiter’s memory.
