William “Bill” Bylsma, age 84, of Dallas, GA, passed away on March 6, 2017. He was born on January 10, 1933, in Hallum, Friesland Holland, to the late John & Grace Bylsma, and was preceded in death by his brothers, George Bylsma and Dick Bylsma. Mr. Bylsma was a United States Army Veteran, the owner of William Bylsma Carpet Installations and a member of Mars Hill Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include wife of 60 years, Effie Bylsma of Dallas, GA; children, Glenn & Rowann Bylsma of Meridian, Idaho, Deann & William Jauregui of Visalia, CA, Joyce & Jim Ver Hoef of Pasadena, Maryland, and James Bylsma of Dallas, GA; brother, John & Henriette Bylsma of Brookfield, Wisconsin; sister, Patsy Bylsma of Kentwood, Michigan; grandchildren, Brian Bylsma, Jason & Brittany Ver Hoef, Meleissa & Ron Sequeira, Michelle & Ryan Moore, Jeremy Ver Hoef, and Jennifer & Josh Silva; great-grandchildren, Lily Ver Hoef, Sawyer Sequeira, Lucas Sequeira, and Tegan Reese Sequeira.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at 11 AM, from Mars Hill Presbyterian Church in Acworth, GA, with Pastor Bryant Harris officiating.
