RT ‘Propaganda’ makes drone deaths seem worse than they are – former CIA deputy director

Published on May 19, 2015 Drones are “the most effective” weapon the US has in the war against terrorism, and while collateral damage does occur, “propaganda” makes it seem far worse than it actually is, according to former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell. Discussing a wide range of national security issues, including Iraqi WMDs and the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, the former spy told RT’s Ben Swann that UAVs are more accurate than any other weapon the US could be using, and their use is an unfortunate necessity.
