	Published on May 7, 2015 An unarmed, homeless man was fatally shot by Los Angeles police in Venice, California. Controversy surrounds the statement by the LAPD Police Chief who stated the high bar required for use of fatal force and his concern that his officers conduct did not meet that bar in this incident. CNN's Stephanie Elam has more.

Getting to be a daily occurrence. Some serious thought needs to be put into how police are trained to handle interactions with the public and when it is appropriate to draw their weapon before their is a complete revolt against authority in this country.
