Clark Funeral Home Posted February 24, 2015 Report Share Posted February 24, 2015 Elinor M. Parsons, age 87, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. She was born on December 25, 1927, in Birmingham, AL, to the late Ralph L. and Dora Mae Cooper Morris, and was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Vernon Parsons. Mrs. Parsons retired from Life of Georgia Insurance and owned and operated the Back Room Antique Store in Downtown Dallas for 20 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dallas. Survivors include daughter, Karen Joyner of Dallas, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas & Sara Jane Morris of Marietta, GA; sister-in-laws, Ann Morris of Powder Springs, GA, Peggy Morris of Sharpsburg, GA, and Lillie Morris of Cedartown, GA; grandchildren, Brandon Joyner and Brittany & Kaleb Anderson; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Anderson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 12 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Sam Braswell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 28, 2015, from 10 AM until the time of service. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
