LPPT
Congratulations to all of the newly elected officials and to the people who held themselves out for public office but fell short. It is a humbling experience to run for office and anyone who takes on the challenge deserves the respect of their fellow citizens. I could not agree more. After observing local politics the last few years, I am not sure if we can ever get good decent people to run here.If no dirt can be dug up, it is made up. Honesty and integrity are not a requirement to run here. It is about serving those that want something and are willing to pay for it. I have distanced myself from local politics. I saw all I ever want to see. At the state level the issue of the almost impossibility of replacing incumbents makes me feel hopeless. I want to thank you for doing a great job.
